My guess is we get the earlier session and Kentucky/KSU get the later session because of Kentucky.Do we know what session we are yet?

Like they did against Richmond last year?
Check out Chris Jans’ history at Bowling Green.
It’s good against evil.Originally from Iowa. Coached at New Mexico State and one of his long time assistants is the coach that got fired this year b/c of the hazing incident (which caused them to cancel their season). New Mexico State also had a murder scandal this year like Alabama did.
This confuses me every year. If we get to the Sweet 16, are we in KC?It'll be a couple hours yet.
ESPN's "summary" under Iowa has them as "one of the hottest teams in the country"... lol. They were a dark horse Final Four team by Seth and a hot pick coming off of their B1G tourney win.
They've been bad lately and I can see them coming out and putting together some crazy shooting day and playing defense for the 2nd time all season.
I like CBS but that entire broadcast was bad.Did anyone else catch Gumble struggling to speak? It was tough to get through.
They really wouldn't.too bad. ISU would crush Drake.
Yeah I’m thinking second game in the first session. Around 2.My guess is we get the earlier session and Kentucky/KSU get the later session because of Kentucky.
I believe their game is Wednesday night.Pitt/Miss State Tuesday. Im alright with that.
I just think we've had a lot of naïve folks around here lately. End of the day, the committee members are humans using judgement to figure this all out. Doesn't matter what's on the "team sheet' or not, or what the stated metrics and criteria are.
They didn't like the big 12 as much as the metrics did. I tired to suggest the big 12 is "overrated", while still being the best conference and people told me I was a moron.
Anyway, seed doesn't matter, you have to play great teams regardless.
Go cyclones
Haha the insurmountable juggernaut of Drake.ISU was one spot behind Miami in the seed list (21 vs 20). One spot away from that ISU / Drake matchup so many people were fearing!
Yes. Likely against Texas. Iowa State, Drake and Iowa would all play in KC if they got to the Sweet 16.Thanks

I think the committee ended up putting a bigger emphasis on losses. We had a ton of great wins. But also several not great losses.
They can talk all they want about only looking at metrics, but in the end they look at how the teams actually perform.
Anything can happen, but they tend to have problems with lengthy, athletic teams. Houston has both at every position.I can see Iowa beating Houston for some stupid reason.

Pittsburgh or Mississippi State? I feel more comfortable with Pittsburgh for various reasons. If we get by, I like our chances with Xavier.
