It was something to the effect of Xavier Foster doesn't have the work ethic to be a factor in college basketball anywhere
Everyone within a 45 min radius of Oskaloosa knew Xavier wasn’t going to pan out. He was never the best player on his 3A team and was lazy and dumb. Omaha is better in every area. Only thing Xavier had over Omaha is that he was 7 foot tall, which ended up being useless.

Take the time to post all stats (if you’re capable of doing that) comparing the two. You’ll be surprised at what you find.

And to all of you. Pryce won Mr. BB. I know you are disappointed. But rather than simply saying the voting was fixed, why should Omaha have won? And yes we all know he is a very athletic 5* and is expected to be a star at the next level, but unfortunately that’s not part of the voting criteria.
If the voting criteria were nothing more than a mechanical comparison of selected stats, why are there voters?

The McCafe’s and this troll who claims to root for both teams but has trashed Omaha’s recruiting thread instead of starting some glorious Mr. Iowa Basketball thread in In-State Rivals
WTF!!!!!!!

How is Iowa State missing out on 20-30 recruits that are all better than Omaha!!!!!?????

I assume all of these guys are Duke or Kansas commits. A few probably going to play one year in Europe for a few million before MBA draft?
1. I haven’t trashed Omaha at all. I’ve just defended Pryce‘s award based on RESULTS, whom YOU FOLKS were trashing. Ive stated numerous times Omaha has the greatest potential.

2. Charlie_B provided you with the stats. Now analyze them. Who had the dominating year based on stats? Total rebounds? Yep, Pryce, despite being shorter and less athletic. Shooting percentage: total, 3- point, free throw? Yep, Pryce. Assists, Pryce again.

if any of you happen to make it into the business world, you’ll find potential gets you hired, results get you rewards. HFCS, MacD’s should be a good goal for you.

I think HFCS is too old to be placed on the McDonald's AA team.

Omaha kicked Pryce’s ass head to head…

I did. PS may have better stats than OB but others have better stats than PS. Therefore the voters didn't base this on stats. You act like there are only two players playing basketball this year.

It’s very clear to me that you have never actually watched either play. Do you know why Omaha had less rebounds? It’s because they have another 6’9 guy that allowed Omaha to guard on the perimeter and at the top of their 1-3-1 they played regularly

I’m sorry, I forgot where I was. I was thinking of a rational discussion. Forgot you guys can’t do that. See ya.

This was yesterday and yet you just posted again. You really are in irrational person. Lies, lies and more lies. Typical troll fashion. Are you the reincarnated yeahbuddy?

Alright let me drop some actual statistics that matter lol..

1st game of the two teams
W - Pryce : 10 pts, 7 rbs, 3 ast, 2 blk on 2/6 FG, 2/5 3PT
L - Omaha : 27 pts, 4 rbs, 1 ast, 2 blk on 9/13 FG, 3/5 3PT

2nd game of the two teams
L - Pryce : 26 pts, 6 rbs, 1 ast, 4 blk on 10/23 FG, 3/11 3PT
W - Omaha : 21 pts, 10 rbs, 6 ast, 2 blk on 8/17 FG, 2/5 3PT

3rd game of the two teams
W - Pryce : 10 pts, 8 rbs, 0 ast, 1 blk on 3/11 FG, 2/6 3PT
L - Omaha : 21 pts, 4 rbs, 1 ast, 1 blk on 9/17 FG, 2/7 3PT

Okay so you all can do the math here.. When they played one another, Sandfort was honestly not very good. That’s your head to head matchup, especially since Omaha guarded Sandfort a lot (and Pryce couldn’t guard Omaha btw).
So what I’m taking from this is that in 3 games Omaha scored 69 points. Nice.

As I said, you trashed Omaha’s recruiting thread. Pages and pages of which is now nothing but comparing him to Mr. Iowa Basketball. I guess looking at the three games they played I see why shot attempt volume is important to you.
This kind of crap belongs in in-state rivals, not our commit’s recruiting thread.

From your criteria (not mine) I'd say Pryce should have been 15th runner up, maybe 16th or 17th.

LOL at the career advice from a total stranger. I'd probably put a bullet in my head if I had to work a normal boring job instead of my actual career.

Omaha won the Gatorade Player of The Year Award, as he should have.

@Hawktj If Mr. Basketball was based just on stats, then William Kiburis from Gladbrook-Reinbeck or Preston Gillespie from Dunkerton should have won it.

Points: Kiburis 678 (#1)
Sandfort 648 (#4)

Assists: Kiburis 207 (#3)
Sandfort 74 (#243)

Rebounds: Kiburis 208 (#68)
Sandfort 285 (#12)

Steals: Kiburis 74 (#20)
Sandfort 45 (#222)

Blocks: Kiburis 25 (#132)
Sandfort 71 (#14)

Preston Gillespie from Dunkerton had better stats than Sandfort in 4 of the 5 stats I mentioned above.

He's moved on to suggesting we all apply for jobs at McDonalds.

That's always the sign of someone winning an argument. The guy has won the internet.
Hope some hard worker at McDonald’s puts a little something extra in his order.
