From an Iowa State perspective today went about as well as it could have. Even if we lose tomorrow, multiple higher seeds already took worse loses, and our biggest rival is out. That said, I love this ISU team and I really want a few more games from this group.

House money. Almost.

Pretty impressive Colgate is even this close with the way Texas is shooting. An average night from 3 for Texas and it's a very close game

They look wildly outclassed, agree that I'm surprised not a 20-30 point game.

Princeton defeated Arizona 59-55 which is the 4th most common score in tournament history (12 times).
Northwestern defeated Boise State 75-67 which is the 5th most commons score in tournament history (11 times).

Another Tournament - Another Sweet Sixteen without Iowa. My 23-year old daughter has never been able to watch Iowa in the Sweet Sixteen.

To be honest, she wouldn't want to watch them in the Sweet Sixteen anyway, no it really isn't any big deal.

I'm not in Iowa anymore but it seems like the $4million was a hit on every Iowan with a job.

Incorrect, it came out a week ago that the University of Iowa is going to end up paying the whole $4million instead of the State paying some.
