I don't know if JLC would've fit TJ's defensive scheme, but his 3-point shooting would've been useful that year.
This. With all due respect, @JP4CY is leaving out distinguishing factors regarding Hunter that explain the dissatisfaction of some posters. Sure, if you only consider the facts that fit your position, then your position is unassailable.
Another important distinction is that Grill has yet to complete his transfer. Where he transfers and what he says about ISU will undoubtedly affect the opinions of some posters. If he goes to WVU or another in-conference team, makes some demonstrably untrue statements about why he transferred, and then **** tweets about ISU, he will likely not be warmly received by ISU fans.
That shouldn't be difficult for anyone to understand.
Texas isn’t a rival, but they are the school I hate most, followed by Iowa. The hits just keep coming with Texas, with the latest being hiring the most insufferable douche coach in the league since Dana Holgerson.

Tyrese didn’t like ISU and talked a little **** on the way out. I’m pretty sure he posted something on his IG story too talking about he was glad to be leaving. But him completely leaving campus to go back home right after the NCAA tournament wasn’t a great look.
I'd imagine if he left immediately it was to start the bidding war. Not that that's right.

I don’t! It was a few weeks after he left and I believe he was doing a thing where his followers would ask a question and he’d answer them. Someone asked him about ISU and his answer was “LOL”
So again, very minimal and he wasn’t really publicly talking ****. It was more little things that some people got really all crazy about. I’m over it. He didn’t like ISU or Ames and that’s okay.
The season is over after the tournament, if he wasn't happy being in Ames it makes sense to leave if that was an option for him.

I think Tinsley "kind of did this" too, right? I get that he was going pro but there were even wild rumors of him throwing the MSU game, getting a sweet car, and dropping out of ISU.
Tinsley didn't go to school the second semester since the grades would not count toward him being eligible. I know that.
I get what you’re saying and with ISU’s luck, nothing ever surprises me. With that being said, in 81 career games, Grill has only ever scored over 30 once
If Grill scores 30 points in a conference game next year I'll eat his sweatband.
