Sounds like they won’t release a recruit until after Kish gets a chance to talk to them. I think that’s fair.
Also, you can cross Voinovich off the list.
He thought he could or couldn’t do?
I assume couldn’t. He’s not a fit at Iowa either if Chittum goes 149.
Not sure what it going on. I was speculating. We were interested in him as a 141 pounder.
Chittum is 157. Leaves 149 open there. Rathjen vs Voinovich, apparently. And maybe Siebrecht.
I’d heard a couple weeks ago he was looking at GV and Rutgers. Glad he’s sticking around.
I guess I do have sources. lol. He apparently called the ISU staff to cancel his visit while he was at Iowa. Glad we didn’t have to waste our time on him. I didn’t see much of a fit here anyway.
I didn’t either but I liked him up until he became a hawk.. oh well, I’ll still pull for the kid outside of wrestling the cyclones until he does something dumb - which most end up doing.
That guy also hates the hawks and is wishing and hoping someone good including the Ferraris will go to Rutgers
Skeptical due to his hatred of Iowa and the fact that Chittum is already there. That said, if true, disaster averted at Iowa, IMHO.
Chittum would be an expensive but great pickup. Iowa really screwed mismanaged this portal season.
