I feel like this isn't the world's greatest idea at this time. If they had month by month, personally I'd only subscribe Sept thru Mar.
You just can't put a price on Tim Tebows 38th birthday party and watching highlights from 4 large market gamesNo thank you, I’ll just find a free stream if it’s not on YouTube tv.
I suppose that's the next step. Cable is dying. Then compilers like Sling will die. And then we'll have these stand alone companies.
My opinion is that Disney fully takes over Hulu and then bundles it all.So basically ESPN+..... but everything on ESPN will be on it.... and it will probably cost $39.99 a month.
Yes and no.Gonna need to have 27 different subscriptions throughout the year just to watch what I want to watch. At some point, I will just stop watching tv.
Disney announced that last week. Hulu is going to be consolidated into Disney+ to save money on supporting multiple platforms. My opinion is that Disney fully takes over Hulu and then bundles it all.
FOX has been slow to push a broad based programming subscription platform like Peacock or Paramount+. Even their main foray into a sports subscription platform is one-dimensional with BTN. So if Disney's move speeds up cord cutting could that significantly reduce BTN carriage fees which drive their adding Rutgers (NY) and UCLA (LAx2).So Disney's stock went up with this rumor. What did the cable / streaming companies do? I assume they're a bit worried. ESPN was the key stone that's going to send their subscription numbers into a free fall.
This has been looking like a likely outcome to me for years. Just a matter of how long it takes us to get to the breaking point. It would be a must have for any sports fan.
Now that we have 200 different streaming services all with their own monthly bill… soon I think we’ll realize we were better off with cable and DVDs.
I just pirate everythingGonna need to have 27 different subscriptions throughout the year just to watch what I want to watch. At some point, I will just stop watching tv.
