All of the criticisms you shared lie just as much on the shoulders of CMC as they do anyone else. This is exactly the kind of thing that scares me a bit regarding the diehard CMC fans here. If anything positive happens, it was because CMC is excellent. If anything negative happens, it was someone else's fault. If you disagree, you must be a troll. Nothing I said was in any way unreasonable.
I think you misunderstand what I am saying. I am in agreement some of it is on CMC. But CMC didnt miss 50% of his kicks that were longer than 30 yards, nor did he drop passes at crucial times, or accrue us all those false starts in the red zone. Now, he is responsible for the absolute garbage ST we have had since hes been here, he hired his friends to be the OC and the OL coach. So yes, he should be held responsible for some of it. Additionally, I believe I said CMC was forced to make changes. No way does he fire his bff's if they go 6-6. My original statement stands. We had the 4th youngest team, and one of the toughest schedules. They have made the right moves this offseason, including another decent recruiting class which CMC should be given some credit for. Now, if they go 4-8 again, Ill be the first one calling for his head. I just dont believe they are that bad again

Enyi is the most disappointing. One of the great success stories, and now it may all be gone.
Yeah, and at this point in time, is facing the most dire consequences, as he had made an NFL team (at a well paid position), and in two more years, would have been potentially negotiating several million dollar contract. Probably lost close to a million this year, and will be required to petition for reinstatement and no guarantees. Albeit in games he played, from what I have read, his wagers were minor and the DCI has said not affecting outcomes.

The funny thing about the books using your geolocation to verify your eligibility is that they also use it to target promotions to you. Things like boosted odds, wager matching or free bets if you lose. I'll see boosted odds for Iowa and Iowa state games because it knows I'm in Iowa. Obviously, no athlete should be betting on their own school, but the books purposely make it more enticing to do so by giving the appearance of a deal.

The fine for doing a "California stop" with nobody around is alot more than speeding through a residential area. Which one is more dangerous?

Alot of laws don't make much sense but you still have to follow them.

Agree. Need to follow rules. Gambling on your own team is a big no no. Punishments don't always seem to fit the crime though.

Going 90 in residential areas is pretty bad. Especially after several of your teammates were already busted for doing the same and people were killed. Nothing to see here folks. But hey, some kids were betting a few dollars underage. Hang their asses!!!!!

Honest question. What if I am a student athlete of legal gambling age. Can I place a bet on the Super Bowl coin toss, or length of National Anthem during the Super Bowl?

4-8 again should not automatically put him in the hot seat

Refer to the risk/reward scale
Is the potential risk worth the potential reward

I think he has built enough of a foundation with the program that it wont, but I think you start to see negative impacts from a recruiting standpoint. Hard to continue to trust the process if you arent bringing in fresh talent to develop
