He's my favorite recruit from this class purely for the fact that he could score on God himself if needed.

Usually I'd say it's absurd to compare someone's game to Dirk's but it is eerily similar. A lack of pure athleticism (speed and hops) is more than made up by excellent footwork, balance, range, and a variety of scoring moves. Positions his body excellent in the presence of defenders and can score with a variety of shooting strokes. Also appears to have a very high basketball IQ and (at the very least) strong defensive effort.

Rare to see that kind of polish from a high school player.

I had a heart attack when the court became the Wisconsin court at the end.

Hopefully the Badgers are kicking themselves for missing on this one for some time.

He's the guy I most worry about from an NIL perspective. He has an elite ceiling and could be a 10 year guy in the league as a sharp shooting role player. If he blows up this year or next but isn't quite NBA ready, people are going to be after him like crazy.

Hopefully he will be responding to those who are trying to steal him by saying, "I'm going to play for TJ again. I'll have plenty of time to play for @$$**** coaches in the NBA."

Go back a couple pages and there are people arguing that Georges isn't a good comp lol
It was just a singular play but I see it. He's just more of a wing than Georges was. Idk if we'll see Milan in the post often, at least maybe not next year.

Agreed, Milan is definitely smaller and we shouldn't expect him to bang around in the post much. But he definitely has a lot of the same unique skills Georges did

Him and Tamin could be two of the better returning players in college basketball in 2024-2025.

I'm hoping he just bypasses all that for the NBA.

Hard to fault a young man for pursuing that dream after using Iowa State as a stepping stone.

Stings if he goes elsewhere -- but far less so if he stays out of the Big 12.

I won't like it if he say ends up at Creighton or Arkansas or some other NIL powerhouse...

But way easier to forget he exists that way.

The main shot where he fades with his knee extended like that is a copy of Dirk and no way around it.

I like in some of the longer highlight clips seeing what a creative passer he is.

Was gonna say, he has some Georges-type moves with the ball, but he plays a lot smaller than 6'8''. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but if there's any knock at all, it is probably that. Super excited to have him and hope he can muscle his way to average double figures in scoring for us this year, or at the very least be a reliable threat from deep. A stretch 4 that can keep defenses honest would be huge for us.

I'd say its a good thing. Kevin Durant plays a lot smaller than 6'11". You'd never wish for him to turn into a low post 5 man.
