What do you have?

Hawkeye gal sprawled on the ground near our tailgate. Her two friends helped to support her to walk.

Saw a guy literally sleeping or passed out in his chair by an RV as we were leaving the Haunted Forest

Hawkeye Fans tried to get into some seats and were told those were they someone else’s seats. Lady said they was their season tickets. Gal responded it was here parents tickets and knew who they gave the tickets to come to sit by them. Hawk lady called the gal a *****, which the gal’s husband heard. The husband was not a happy camper and responded, “What did you just say?” Thought all hell might break loose. Hawk lady just moved on with her husband who just kinda stood in the background.

This is the best and worst tailgate of the year. Best because you can more of your friend group together. Worst because of all the douchebags that ruin fun for everyone. The people who have their personality based on sports teams results are incredible to me.

While walking towards the stadium I was told “ I’ll never donate a dime to these ********” by a well-pickled sixty-something woman in way too tight Hawkeye gear that looked and sounded like she had just finished her third pack of Marlboros already. I told her thanks for buying her ticket, the athletic department appreciates your business.
Was told “**** State” by a younger puke fan. I asked if his mom was up yet or was she still tired from me making her yell go cyclones all night. His buddies laughed.

Found this as we walked back to the lots to leave. This was in A4 and that was written on the windshield. Probably can’t blame it on the other team, but the wrong thing to do.

Thank you to the guy in the crooked Hawk hat and ANF shirt taking a piss in the middle of D3 an hour before kickoff. I appreciated the opportunity for my middle school daughter to see something like that and answer questions about seeing your junk.

My apologies, I was a little tired.

We were surrounded by drunk Hawks in the upper deck openly drinking their booze and making life miserable. It makes the SEZ wall even more ridiculous. Three drunk Hawk teenagers harassing fans so much that adults from both sides tried talking to them. Thought they were going to hit one woman.

Discussing the scary situation after the game with a friend who asked why the ushers did nothing. What ushers? At least two years ago, we had one for three quarters and when he left, all hell broke loose.

I don’t feel safe in my seat for this game. There is no security whatsoever. There is obviously not the staff to prevent people bringing in cans and bottles of all sizes. I would pay more for my ticket to feel safe in the stadium. It’s only one game cause of those morons, but something ugly will happen soon and it will the AD’s fault for not paying staff to keep people safe.

A Hawk four years ago whipped it out right in front of our four year old great niece in the grass lots down the hill from Vet Med.

Parking in a non-space, presumably to use an empty actual space for tailgating. Sounds about right.

We have had season tix for 20 or so years. Yesterday was the first time in a long time during an Iowa game there was nothing but civility and good sportsmanship in our area. Had at least 6-8 hack fans in our row. A nice surprise to be honest.
