I forgot about Fields, but every Big Easy fan has to admit, outside of OSU, the league in not producing QB's at a high level. The guy for MSU last night that I saw was below average at best. What I have seen from Nebraska, Illinois and NW seems to be the same.

Just a horrible league for QB's, compare that to the B12, and you have a lot of QB's that can at least throw the ball down the field at a decent rate.
Sure but the Big12 doesn’t put people in the NFL at a very high rate. Only starters are Mahommes, Purdy, and technically Geno, I say technically because this is his last year starting.

Also the counter argument would be how few NFL defenders the Big12 produces. I’m not in the camp of saying the Big12 doesn’t play defense but if you’re making NFL comparisons it’s not even close.

Still the big10 has been very much behind in having pass first modern offenses compared to the SEC and big12.

Mayfield is starting for Tampa Bay, Hurts played his final year at OU after leaving Alabama, much like Wilson did for Wisconsin.
The difference between the Big Easy and the SEC is at least the SEC has produced good QB's in the past, who outside of Brady, who no one wanted coming out and Brees, they just have not produced much in the way of QB's.

Oh I didn’t know you were still counting OU QB’s.

You realize that the mannings and Stafford are the only SEC qb’s to win a superbowl in the last 25+ years right? Before that you have to go all the way back to Ken Stabler lol.

Why would I not count players from a team that is still playing in the league? It's not like the Big Easy counting Nebraska records as their own.

Alabama has a few playing at a high level, the guy in Miami as one, who from the Big Easy conference is playing at a high level in the NFL?

Mccarthy and Allar will both be future early round picks probably rounds 1-3. Tua's brother may get drafted too

Will post a couple of things since ISU plays TCU next:

1. WVU took the bus to TCU. Team didnt return to Morgantown until after 6 am this morning (fun fact)

2. WVU had 5 sacks and 9 tackles for loss. TCU's oline can be had.

3. WVU gave up no sacks

4. WVU had 201 yards rushing

5. WVU held TCU's Big 12 leading rusher to 2.9 ypc and 55 yards.

6. WVU shut out TCU in the 2nd half.

7. WVU blocked 2 fgs.

Took the bus from where to where? It's an 18 hour drive from FW, TX to Morgantown, WV.

took the bus from Pittsburgh to FW and back again. Long ass trip. Travel is hard. At least that's what 3 guys before the game podcast said.

Seems off to me, as that is still 18 hours. Perhaps, they meant bus from Morgantown to Pittsburgh for a flight instead of from Morgantown? Either way, I'm glad WVU won the game! :)

Gonna call BS on this one.

ISU has played night games in Lubbock, chartered, and still gotten back after 4 a.m.

WVU would still be on the road if they drove to Fort Worth.

BYU, K-State, WVU are the best chance right now to knock off OUT to get to the Big 12 championship game. It will totally suck to see these defectors in the final. The fans would pull a Missouri chanting "S-E-C". I wouldn't watch the game though.

It's such a weird thing with Texas and OU fans. Why are you shitting on the conference that has been your home for so long, has bent over backwards for you and none of the remaining schools did anything to you other than beat your ass on the field the last decade plus if you are Texas?

Missouri fans did it because they were getting out from Texas' shadow and all of the crap the Longhorns did while everyone original was in the league. A&M was the same thing, so I get that, as it was a chant to stick it to Texas.

But chanting "S-E-C!" at the Big 12 Championship Game for Texas and OU would be very weird. Nobody left is Nebraska of old or A&M. Texas fans will let Yormark hear it for sure. Just a strange thing, as teams like Kansas State, Iowa State, WVU, Oklahoma State, etc. have been nothing but phenomenal conference mates since the Big 12 was created from all accounts.

Because they’re Texas. That’s what they do … they’re probably ticked they’re not able to put the embalmed head of the B12 up on the wall of their den next to the husk of the SWC. And OU has hitched their wagon to UT and will do whatever is asked of them.

Yep. And I tell you what, if you told me there was only one more win to be had from our boys this year and it was Texas in JTS I would sign up for it all day. That would be so delicious and worth sacrificing other wins this season. Normally I would never take one victory and losing every other game but that game is the exception.
