Agree. I’ll give Condon credit, he seems to be much more evenhanded toward and knowledgeable of ISU. Even more so than Miller, who is constantly declaring he’s “not a fan of either team.” Which comes across exactly like a case of “Me thinks he doth protest too much.”

Ummm.... Miller is impartial and very fair to Iowa State. Condon HATES the Cyclones and he doesn't even try to cover it up.

But I rarely find his takes on ISU to be off base.

Where Condon can get annoying is when he leans into the "Iowa State isn't really Iowa's rival" which he's done from time to time.

Miller doesn't sugar coat it regarding either team. I didn't get to listen today but I'm sure he was probably pretty rough on Iowa.

Agree on Ken. He's always been fair.

Condon probably hates ISU but doesn't mean he's not fair to them.

He has an unnatural hatred for Pollard and went on another rant about him today for no reason. I wish Jamie would go on and tell him off.

Yeah I just listened to it, Ken really didn't like that the University rolled out branded beer right after WeWill did. TBH a lot of fans are pissed at Pollard for this too, University branded sanctioned beer while still outlawing beer sales in the stadium.
Ken wants ISU to have a sole beer just like Iowa does with Swarm.

And if I'm being honest, I was sort of upset when the university announced a branded beer right after the WeWill beer. I don't think they need the money more than our collective does and seemed hypocritical to Jamie's refusal to sell beer in the stadium.

It was a lengthy bit on Sound Off one year right before the Fran fade. And I don’t get things like child abuse and pedophilia being things to joke about.
Obviously child abuse and pedophilia aren't funny, but I just can't believe you didn't immediately recognize Fales' comment for the light hearted quip it was.

Yeah I think it's fairly known that Pollard & Miller aren't big fans of each other. There is a reason Pollard never goes on their show.

It’s one thing to question or criticize the strategy. It’s another to go on unhinged rants attacking Pollard’s character. I would argue it’s good to have options and let the fans decide who they want to benefit.

I think Heather and Sean summed up this overblown "beer war" the best the other week. You don't have to buy Ames Lager to support the NIL you can give directly to the WeWill without having to buy beer too and same goes with any other ISU associated beers that have been released. It's not a competition but also a way for the NIL, ISU Athletics, and the Jack Trice Legacy foundation to generate some additional funds and give the fans some choices with beers too.

I've kept 1 can of each to put on my ISU shelf in my man cave as I think they are cool looking and years from now when they may not be available will be a neat collectible to display. I don't really care where the money for the beer goes too and don't make my decision based off that, I tend to buy the ones I think taste the best. Personally of the 4 I think the Ames Lager is last on my list and the Clone Fest and Hazy IPA Backpocket have done are far superior in taste so if I had my choice I'd rather drink those 2. The coolest looking can is the Jack Trice Legacy beer Peace Tree did IMO.

If the WeWill collective is worried those other beers are taking away potential sales from them then maybe they need to expand their offering to give fans more options they would prefer to buy. I'm going to buy the ones I think taste the best and are the types of beer I usually enjoy not because of where the money is going to.

KXNO: I'm done listening. I tuned in randomly 3 separate times today and every time the topic was Caitlyn Clark. It's Oc-freaking-tober. Not even hoops season. I just can't anymore. Legit boycotting
Well the Iowa women did have their media day today, perhaps that spurred the conversation?

There's also been TV time announcements made for the team, perhaps that helped spur the conversation?
