Or just poorly received. I'm not saying you do it all at once. Regardless y'all can't stand to hear anything but 'Purdy is God.'

He's not perfect.

But it's insane that he has "almost interceptions" highlighted on the day where QBs that are supposedly among the greatest ever threw more real interceptions and lost against lower performing defenses or actually made plays to lose the game when Purdy gave his kicker a chance to win it with a 40 yarder.

My criticism is with some really dumb contrarian media, not that Purdy is flawless, we saw his limitations up close at ISU already. The coaching and teammates at SF have minimized some of it but he still will make a poor decision sometimes and he's not the greatest athlete to ever play QB.

Yes I've seen this drum beat to death on here daily. I've never said anything like this so it's kind of a bore to hear it repeated ad nauseum. In the end the talking heads are going to say things for ratings.

So maybe people do hear you and agree with you.

From 2009 through 2019, there were 311 40 yard field goals attempted in the NFL, and 265 of them (or 85.21%) were successful. If the 49ers kicker converts the kick like he's paid to do, everyone is talking about how Brock took the 49ers down the field in the last seconds for a huge come from behind win.

That Cleveland game solidified my suspicions. The rest of the team needs to bring their game up to Purdy's level. He's been the one propping them up. Even the defense didn't play up to Purdy's level. Brock will drag them along to the division title but to win the Super Bowl the rest of the team better step their game up.

Of course you can do these things to limit him, but honestly it's not a smart take. You can't do ALL of these things at the same time without 14 defenders.

Giants and Pitt blitzed a whole bunch, didn't matter.
Rams did a combo of bracketing and man coverage, didn't matter
I think it was the Seahawks last year that tried the QB spy, didn't matter

Any of these things can slow him (or any QB) down, but it's a matter of confusing him and/or a great counter-gameplan that will really do the trick. The good thing for Brock and the niners is that 1) it's not easy to confuse him and 2) it's not easy to predict what Shanahan is going to do.
You also can’t do these things and also stop a very potent running game.

True. But I was just dishing it back to BWR. The guy seems to be taking pleasure in Brock having a bad game, so was a great opportunity to make fun of Dak sucking,
Like I said, if you say anything other than Brock is God, people get all butt hurt in here. I'm no Dak apologist and I also didn't come in here and gloat when the 9ers lost like you and your ilk did when Dallas lost.

I'm not a Niners fan, but I would LOVE to see Brock Purdy win a ring as Mr. Irrelevant.

I'm thinking this loss is a good thing. Get a loss or two under his belt before the playoffs.
