Whoa. I get annoyed by AD getting jabs in at ISU just like everyone else does, but overall I think he has been great for the Murph & Andy show. The show doesn't seem to flow very well when they have other producers come in while he's out. I'm sure they can get someone in there that will build some of the same chemistry with them but this also makes me wonder how long Keith and Andy will continue doing the show. They have said they weren't sure they would continue the show when AD got temporarily laid off a few years ago.

As far as producing the various shows, I always thought Emery was just as good and more entertaining. Also liked when he filled in as host.

Hosting a Hawk pod. Hell, they could move the whole Murph and Andy show over there and he could produce that show while they all have more flexibility

Not true. It was a special sit down interview and it was during the newscast. They may have tried to do a skit on it because that is what they do at KXNO/WHO. Double down, tell people they don’t have a dog in the fight and “if it gets people to watch/listen then it’s working and we win we fooled you, yadda yadda yadda”

Yes, what I saw was a skit on Soundoff, which was obviously a joke. I don't watch 13 news, so if there was an actual interview that Soundoff was parodying, I'm unfamiliar with it.

That's fantastic. I had no idea how popular the Iowa Everywhere network was, but I find myself listening to almost all of their content. It's very, very good.

I think Stanz's is abundantly clear he had a falling out with CW. Otherwise why would'nt they have a fun farewell podcast? Why wouldn't Stanz still do some freelance podcasting for the Iowa Everywhere network? Can do that from wherever you live.

What shocks me about Andrew Downs is that he was a higher up.

I listen to M&A and M&C daily. These guys talk about their lives a lot.

He does have a youthful voice.

Guessing it was a lot of BS behind the scenes for not enough pay and he just got tired of it. Yeah maybe it is risky not having something lined up right away but I kind of admire someone who just says "F it" and says I'm going to take the leap and move on.
