and when you say "bad/average", you mostly mean inferiorly coached....as much as I hate to say it, Liepold can coach....
He's a fantastic coach.

Ok dude, like your last 8 posts are about how much you hate Rocco. Just give it up for the night. Another one to put on ignore.Kansas just is going to make our QB beat them. And that's just not going to happen. Good game plan honestly, why others haven't done this I have no idea. We just really limited at that position right now.
Sorry. I was going to leave but this dumb and simplistic. The play book and blocking are 100% married. The playbook doesn't even matter at this point - not when the OL can't block anything.
It's strange how much we can struggle with things like preparation and game management.
That doesn't matter till the end of the 4th. Then it still doesn't matterCALL TIMEOUT CAMPBELL. YOU WASTED 40 Sshelter?
Ha, man, this just keeps getting better.
The staff inexplicably saves all its timeouts (not using any of them to try to push for any reviews - on multiple occasions) - and when KU is facing a 4th down, we let 20 seconds tick off the clock before calling a timeout with 43 seconds left.
OK, we got em right where we want em.
These posts back to back made me LOL.We need a miracle
Add Campbell and you have Bean and Bacon soup. Yum.Bacon and Bean
Coaching staff needs to do a little better on the edgesIt's strange how much we can struggle with things like preparation and game management.
This is the longest farewell tour ever.Sorry. I was going to leave but this dumb and simplistic. The play book and blocking are 100% married.
If no matter what your spouse does, you do the same thing, than you're marriage is probably F;ed. Yes, when its working great, it works, but when trouble sets in, it doesn't matter.
Its the same thing with the playbook. Yes, the playbook ALWAYS matters. In fact, it matters more than the blocking.
Its why there are phrases such as "scheme a guy open" and why offenses invented draws, going on 2, moving the pocket, all designed to help an offensive line, The playbook always matters.
ESPECIALLY at Iowa State where you are not going to be able to line up and simply whip the other guys ass for 4 quarters physically on a regular basis.
