No way they can charge $1000 bucks a seat or whatever for the endzone club if you can buy beer anywhere in the stadium. I want beer sales stadium wide, but don't think it would be the big money maker everyone thinks it would be. I've heard it said by other schools that beer sales are more about getting people to attend rather than making money. ISU doesn't have that problem yet. I think if Pollard thought beer sales stadium wide would be a big revenue generator it would have happened by now.His stance bothers me. Just not because I have any desire to buy beer in the stadium.
It bothers me because we're leaving something on the table financially and almost every other school is utilizing this revenue stream. Then he acts like we're children that can't handle it, when our athletic department in general very much low-key plays off and benefits from our fanbase's reputation as party animals.
