I hate bagging on guys, but to be as good as I thought, Curtin jones and Omaha need to be better. And Gilbert needs to play a little bit more team oriented.

This team will be vulnerable to streak shooting teams like Iowa for example.
Omaha doesn’t play. Even when he isn’t warming the bench nobody lets him touch the ball. He bears absolutely no responsibility for the atrocity that just occurred on the offensive end of the floor

Tamin has just been rock solid as expected. Gilbert was incredible yesterday but just couldn't get on track tonight. Best part of the night was probably Pav's minutes. May have found something there, as he just looked tenacious out there tonight. I'm looking at Omaha's minutes as an investment. Eventually the light will come on.

I sure wish that ignoring someone meant I didn't see responses to their posts from those aren't smart enough to ignore them too. There are two no-brainer ignores that everyone needs to do.

And that’s why it’s horrible to schedule all those cupcake teams in non-con. We have yet to have any good wins for the NCAA tournament committee. This will 100% cost us to miss the tournament.
We'll make the tournament. We scheduled easy games early because we're a young team.

MARK MY WORDS:

Curtis Jones = Gabe Kalsheur.
(and I will die on that hill)

Make of that what you will.

Now we can debate whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's a fact.
That's not fair. Kalscheur at least had a good handful of games where he was on fire shooting the ball.

Nope. Too small of a sample yet. Plus he hasn't hit the side of the back board, or air ball wide open 3's. Get a grip dude
Tell Otz and Green to get a grip then. I don't make the decisions.

That is their eval and his comp, and that is why he is on the team, and it is the role they see for him. I'll side with them, but you could be right. All I can say is buckle up for plenty more of him because they are gonna let it ride.

OK, I want Omaha to be great, but he is 3 steps behind on o and d right now. He's not ready and it is pretty obvious. He probably has all the ingredients, but he's still doughy inside, he needs a little more time in the oven before we put the icing on.

Im not that worried about this team right now.

What I am worried about is the fact that our last shot at a good win before conference play is Sunday, and if we lose that game we won't have a Q1 win going into conference play. I do not want do be desperate for good wins going into conference play.

We will have plenty of opportunities in conference play

Frustrating game, proud of the fight as always, but our FT shooting lost the game.

Glad to see MM shooting well again; he also made some bad freshman fouls.

And amusing watching a few of you come completely unglued after 1 loss.
Exactly this. While it’s more fun when your team wins, at the end of the day it’s just entertainment.
