Not exactly sure.
Yep and that's what they'll use to keep them out: a September win.

Texas had several close games too against less than great teams but that will get swept under the rug.

'Eyeball' test tells me Oregon looks like the best team outside of Georgia.
If they get in, it means Washington lost, so then it would be a Texas vs FSU situation

Temple was kicked out of the Big East after the 2004 season, so it has happened.
It won't be done like kicking out the lower tier team, it will be more like leaving them behind. More like Washington St Oregon St. The big schools all leave the SEC to join the big schools from the B1G in some new super conference and they just don't invite the lower tier schools to the party.

Really kicking Oregon state when they are down by taking their coach as well.

Again I think the super conference would cause an overall drop in interest and viewership but this isn’t the thread for that.

If coach Moore wins this game for Michigan, do they just call him a system coach?

I have to ask a question about this metric.... Minnesota is at 992, but the Naval Academy is 969...if I had a child who was interested in both institutions, I would think MN would be the better choice, correct? Or is this a meaningless statistic meant to reward a Power 5 college whose football team is having a bad season...I can understand why parents these days experience existential dread regarding their charges....Geez Louise....what a mess....I do not envy any parent in this environment.

I would think the Naval Acadamy would be the better choice. By far. It's the freaking Naval Academy.
