That narrative doesn't work in the new Big 12. We need to contend for a title when the roster is in a year where starters are older and experienced.

Not that I am surprised that the sky is falling on here, did anyone honestly expect more than this? K-State is much better than us. The fact it is this close is amazing, frustrating, but amazing.

Fans are mad because K-State isn't better than us. There's not a talent gap there. Fans are mad because they win games in the margins, and we lose games in the margins, despite our head coach preaching about winning games in the margins every single day for the past 7 years.

Kohl probably has more experience in the snow but that just isn’t in the works. I feel they need to let him rollout and make it a run pass option.

Going back to historical stats. We are minus 2 in the turnover department and really like 2.5 because of the snapped ball over Rocco’s head that killed a great drive. Absolutely have to get at least one turnover back because losing the turnover battle equals losing more times than not. Losing it by multiple turnovers is like a 75% or more chance you are losing that game.

Absolutely f***ing inexcusable to give up a touchdown there. Really, really bad defense. Some of the worst tackling efforts you’ll ever see on a football field. Giving up the EASY 4th down and then the big gain right after (also wide f***ing open) is on Heacock. Really disappointing from this staff, once again right before a half.

And dropping INT’s isn’t bad luck or a bad break. We’ve dropped dozens of INT’s in CMC’s tenure. DB’s, LB’s, it doesn’t matter - they all drop them, year after year. When it happens with so many different players across so many different seasons, that’s on the staff. Dropping an INT is a turnover.

Dropping interceptions is on the coaches? LOL I ******* love this place so much.

On offense we need to run our offense. Can't expect to run game to get big chunks in 2nd half. Amazing that KSU is passing all over the place and we're afraid to pass the ball.

If we are being honest with ourselves, we are going to have to get used to not winning in the margins some games. Campbell has said it as nauseam, but we have yet to actually be good in the margins. Until I actually see it, we will be the team to hurt ourselves in these close games. There is a reason Campbell is the Scott frost of the big 12 in one score games…..

It's a real concern that he has planted the margins flag as how we're going to win and then we f up every margin ever presented to us. I get the philosophy. I like the philosophy. But I'm disappointed we can't ever improve in that part of the game.

So that means throw the ball 5 yards short of the sticks on 1st down. Having 3 successful runs doesn’t mean you can’t throw in some easy passing plays.

At this point I’m not sure that CMC is capable of not shooting himself in the foot. He is awful in the margins. I fully expect to have opportunities to win the new Big 12 in future years and Matt Campbell will find a way to screw it up. He has has opportunity after opportunity to self-correct but he never does. It is hard to watch.

Outside of samas two big runs we have done zero on offense. This game could easily be 27-0 or something like that.

It could (and should) easily be 14-10 good guys too. Too many dumbass mistakes.
