Hey man I'm aware that KState has played and always plays a cleaner game than us...

But if they had a guy they could just hand it and make two house calls, they probs would.

Furthermore, I don't think I remember any *recent* K State wildcats doing didlee squat in the NFL. Or having a top broadcast team compare them to Walter Payton or any other hall of famers.

It is what it is. And in no way am I thinking we aren't pissing this away on a handful of disaster Plays. But we are beating ourselves.

I don't think a coaching change is in the cards yet, but I don't think it's that crazy to want to talk about it. I really like Campbell and understand this is a "rebuilding year," but it's not like we really cashed in the last time we had a group of battle-tested seniors. We should fare better with Texas and Oklahoma heading East.

Are you serious , CMC is not going anywhere if he gets six wins and get bow eligible every other year. Phaul Rhodes would still be here if he did that , he went three years without a bowl

What's going on at safety besides Verdon being out? Have Nikkel or Thompson played at all? Seems odd that a freshman walk-on with little or no experience has played so much...

If the best this coach can do with starting NFL talent is no conference championship or CFP appearance, I’m not sure why we’re keeping him around. To peak as a ******** 6-6 team 3 out of 5 years?

I'd say Matt's strength as a coach is identifying talent and player development, which you need at a school like ISU. His gameday coaching leaves a lot to be desired. That said give him credit for getting this young team to a bowl, and still a shot to win this one against a good team.

Agree. What you see is what you’re going to get with CMC. He’s been here long enough to show us who he is.

He has a lot of strengths and a lot of weaknesses. The question is…. is this the best it gets at ISU? It might very well be?

But you will not see us win much in the details, margins, special teams or offensively. CMC has proven over 8 years now that his teams won’t be good at those things. But he has shown he can get good talent here and his teams never give up and give great effort. Not every team can do that.

After how things went in the offseason, and how things started, getting this team back to a bowl means his seat is colder than the weather in Manhattan.

No offense to Nikkel, but Surges is playing much better than he likely would have.

I remember the Colorado game in the 90s where we brought all the ice polishers from campus, each quarter they "swept" the field. Is was astroturf at the time though.
