Ah yes 28 points in the first quarter, with Ewers going 11/11 just screams defenseYou’re a moron.
Well, your last two paragraphs make it evident that you just want Vegas since the reasons against the Cali ones aren’t any different than Vegas.Good question:
Miami and Tampa is a LONG trip for all teams not named UCF and a real outlier for 15/16 teams. Neither Miami nor Tampa would draw good crowds no matter who played in a given year, and Florida can be cool and rainy in December.
I went to an ACC CCG between GT and Wake @ Jax (2006) , and it was raining and half-full stadium at best. ONLY FSU could sellout an ACC game in Jax, so that is one reason they moved it to Charlotte. Big Xii would have the same struggles.
@ Rose Bowl and @ San Diego would be really good for the Western teams but not as good as @ Las Vegas for the Midwestern teams. Usually good weather in both places, so that is a plus. WVU, UC and UCF lose out on all three of these options, but @ Arlington is also tough for them.
Personally, I'd be down with @ Rose Bowl though! That would be awesome because Rose Bowl reasons. @ San Diego would be okay too, but I think @ Las Vegas would be easier to attend and have bigger crowds in any given year.

I mean neither team has a defense, both teams can go down the field whenever they want.
I honestly can’t believe that INT stoodWhat do you determine for how good a team is on defense? Oh, that's right, 'eye ball' test.
So when Illinois and Iowa play one another, it 'looks' like great defense.
Why would anyone watch Iowa vs Illinois? What do you determine for how good a team is on defense? Oh, that's right, 'eye ball' test.

Texas has a really good defense. Saying neither team has a defense is ignorant.
Just horribleHow do they not review that???
Bad calls happen, but OSU has had 2 critical non-calls (the last one with not even a review). I will be so glad when Texas and OU are gone. How do they not review that???

I cannot believe those teams benefit from officiating even after they left the conference for deadBad calls happen, but OSU has had 2 critical non-calls (the last one with not even a review). I will be so glad when Texas and OU are gone.
