I’m going try and eloquently explain to our Spartan/Wolverine friend who thinks we don’t understand the CFP. We understand trust us.

You are on a message board of a school who has and never will get the benefit of the doubt. Perception and history will alway brings us down a notch. We also play in a conference that going forward will be perceived less than and will also never get the benefit of the doubt.

We would like to live in a world that if you do your part and win your games in the end you will be rewarded and given the opportunity to compete for a championship. We have seen that not to be true in the sport of college football.

12 team playoff may help but the have’s will always get the better seat at the table whether they deserve to or not.

You kind of have to see it through our lens rather than just say “look I was right and if you didn’t see this coming that’s on you”

Did not like Booger as a color commentator, but could not agree with him more today. What a joke.

I wish they had a camera in the decision room. They want TV ratings? That would be must watch tv.

I guess then the NFL should have cancelled the NFC championships last year after Purdy got injured.

In the 12 team the champions will get in.

I get your point though and I understand my perspective is both different and off in this regard.

Just got a nice preview of the 12-team at large pool. SEC has four teams in NY6 games.

Honestly its rather odd how much some random michigan\msu fan is on this board. Posts at a rate up there with our most prolific posters on this site.

I'm not shocked, and upset probably isn't quite the right word. I said a few times leading up to it that the right thing to do is include FSU but that there was also no way the committee would do the right thing. Just because I knew what would happen doesn't mean I thought it was the right decision.

I'm not mad - I've long grown past being mad. I've just come to accept what it is.

All I can say is with the Big 12 solidifying itself as a P4 and the fact that ISU has a future for the foreseeable future, college sports still retains my interest to an extent. If the Big 12 had crumbled (which was ESPN's intent) and ISU ended up in the position of Washington St and Oregon St, I probably would have washed my hands of college sports entirely.

Funny the committee didn’t question Michigan when they lost their coach to cheating. But have a kid go down with a injury, oh no, can’t have that!

I'm there. Watch less and less every year.

Haven't watched a playoff game in years. Won't watch this season either

I’ll watch Iowa State, but this year, not interested in the playoffs. It’s getting to be the Miss America pageant for men.

I'm sure they have all the scenarios basically figured out for the next week, before they publicly present the results for the current week.

They understand why they are there.

Go look back to the first 2 threads he created when coming here

A couple of threads where he came here out of nowhere to lecture all of us on 'how it is'.

Honestly its rather odd how much some random michigan\msu fan is on this board. Posts at a rate up there with our most prolific posters on this site.
I mean that second post was just suggesting the we will collective a year before it happened. A lot of the people shouting down the idea then are the supporters of the idea now.

I happen to like this board. It’s one of the best ones I’ve ever seen. You can always put me on ignore if it bothers you so much.

If I were FSU, I’d very publically change their policy to no longer disclose injuries in any sport. And no longer allow ESPN sideline reporters to keep them from reporting on what they see on the sidelines. If the CFP committee wants to penalize for injuries, make sure that no injury information ever gets out.
