DePaul rolling Louisville early 2nd half.

I give them credit: they keep playing. They didn't fold vs. ISU.

Lots of bad calls in that Bama-Purdon't game. Edey is hard to officiate I guess.

WVU has thrown its hat in the ring for the kstate bar fighting hoopster. WVU people saying they have a 50-50 shot.

That could help WVU's very short bench.

At the time he was one of our better players, now who the #### s Tyrese?

Hunger was a truly great defender on day one, but he was also part of the reason we couldn't shoot the ball. In addition to other aspects of the game Lipsey's shot already looks so much better and I could see him end up becoming a very good shooter.

This is a blowout stat comparison in favor of the younger Iowa State player. Hunter is dramatically lower in every single stat than Lipsey whether totals or %. The rebound difference is like having an extra player on the team as a hidden bonus.

TCU is playing in yoga outfits today.

You should see international pro soccer lately.

The players still rip their shirts off when they score, but they are all wearing what looks exactly like a sports bra. In reality it's a biometric tracker that allows for ridiculously detailed analytics of their play and new stats in the sport...but it looks like every one of them plays in a bra.

It's gonna be another brutal battle of a year in Big 12.

P1 conference.

BYU has had a great non conf but I have to wonder if they aren't prepared for what's basically a top 40 kenpom team every night for 18 games in a row (20 next year). Throw 7-0 Cincy in there too, are they ready? Could they possibly be?

9 of 14 B12 teams are in Kenpom Top 40 for Big 12.

Switch it to next year's mix after losing Texas/OU and it's 10 of 16 teams including adding the AP #1 ranked team. Probably overall slightly better, but way better toward top.

For comparison Big Ten has 4 of its 16 in top 40 right now and 5 of 18 if you use next year's teams.

Big 12 should get something like 10-11 at large bids and the B12T champ if they actually look for the true best teams. KState and Texas Tech are just outside top 40. I have a feeling several teams that would be locks in other conferences are going to be fighting to get to .500 (hoping not ISU).

We're ten-ish games in now so there's some actual data and 40 is a relevant number given how many at large spots get filled. This is some crazy depth. SEC football can't even come close to matching this, they only have 8 of the top 40 in football Massey average right now and there aren't 10 teams from Big East/MWC/WCC/AAC eating up spots in that one like there is in hoops.
