Let’s not forget TCU is really good. Should have won at KU but refs gave that game to KU. Only other loss for them in league was at Cincy in OT. They beat OU. They beat Houston.

Closing out a game is the hardest thing to do in sports. Just a great all around win. Curt Jones and Watson gained needed confidence. Omaha showed he has a role to play. And you get a top 25 road W. That’s a great day’s work.
I just keep thinking of KU bigs that you don't even notice until late February/March. Granted, they usually get more minutes than Omaha has gotten, but I do think he can be a factor for us late.
This has been a characteristic of Otz’s teams so far. They go in big scoring droughts and that’s prevented them from being a top team in the B12. When our defense doesn’t generate turnovers, our offense stagnates. I don’t really know what the solution is, but hopefully somebody gets their jumpshot going.

I know he scored a couple nice buckets in the first half, but man he still looks like he has no idea what to do or even where to stand on offense. He has to be directed by teammates the whole time, and I kept holding my breath hoping he didn't bump into teammates. It almost feels like watching Terrence Lewis a few years back, just hoping he could figure it out
I think this was our "biggest" (define that as you wish) win of the season and I'm not sure we can top it unless we pull off a win @ Houston and/or the wheels fall off for TCU to diminish this win a bit.
Blowing out EIU was great but that was light work against a trash team.
If you ask me which is harder, Houston at home at full strength or TCU on the road without Lipsey, I'd say TCU. I'm also not convinced Houston is "elite" yet, they're obviously a very good team.

Agree on the rest but I'm guessing the staff is seeing things develop to a place where they were OK with running him out there. In the first half the foul trouble wasn't too bad so it must have been something they were OK with.
