Let’s not forget TCU is really good. Should have won at KU but refs gave that game to KU. Only other loss for them in league was at Cincy in OT. They beat OU. They beat Houston.
100%There's definitely nuances in the conversation. Players stepping up that in Lipsey's absence might be most important in longevity. Guys like Gilbert and Watson may have had their best overall games.
Heck Omaha got in and had a glimpse of what could be to come. I hope that continues because he looks super eager to do well.

Beating iowa was probably the biggest winThere's definitely nuances in the conversation. Players stepping up that in Lipsey's absence might be most important in longevity. Guys like Gilbert and Watson may have had their best overall games.

It's always our biggest game just ask any hawkeye, they'll tell you.Beating iowa was probably the biggest win
poop noise
Clones get a top 25 road W.
Hawks lose at home.
Now all I need is the Purdy 9ers to win a playoff game, and it will be the perfect sports day.
I just keep thinking of KU bigs that you don't even notice until late February/March. Granted, they usually get more minutes than Omaha has gotten, but I do think he can be a factor for us late. There's definitely nuances in the conversation. Road wins are going to be so hard to come by....Kansas has already lost at WV and UCF, two of the 'worst' teams in the conference.
A ranked road win without our best player? I think it is easily our best game of the year. And the Houston game was really, really good.
I believe the Houston win got us ranked and the TCU win kept us ranked.ok, i think if you had said "most impressive" i'd agree. "best" in terms of NCAA tourney impact, I'd say houston. splitting hairs. at season's end no one on selection sunday will be taking into account that TL was out. just that ISU got a quad 1 win on the the road against ranked TCU
This has been a characteristic of Otz’s teams so far. They go in big scoring droughts and that’s prevented them from being a top team in the B12. When our defense doesn’t generate turnovers, our offense stagnates. I don’t really know what the solution is, but hopefully somebody gets their jumpshot going. It wasn’t so much trying to blow a lead, but not scoring a bucket for over four minutes at the end was the biggest problem I saw. Score on half of those possessions and it’s a double digit win.
at 0:32 CuJo goes 2-2 at the line to go up 73-67in the last 35 seconds wasn't it just:
jones 2-2
gilbert 1-2
?
Just lazy playWe have to lead the conference if not CBB in missed front end of 1 & 1
I know he scored a couple nice buckets in the first half, but man he still looks like he has no idea what to do or even where to stand on offense. He has to be directed by teammates the whole time, and I kept holding my breath hoping he didn't bump into teammates. It almost feels like watching Terrence Lewis a few years back, just hoping he could figure it outThere's definitely nuances in the conversation. Absolutely. Mentally softYou think missing a free throw is 'lazy'?
