Iowa needs to win at least 2 of the next 3 against PSU, MN, and Maryland.
How can any team in P6 have a path to the tournament by beating 3 conference foes who are already in the "No Shot" camp? I said a couple weeks ago that the Hawks get to 20 wins because of who they play. After squeaking past another "No Shot" team, Indiana, looks like they make it. But, silver lining, if that gets them in, maybe Mad Fran stays put.

I would think they have to win all 3 of those.

Not disagreeing. Got a lot of work to do.

I wonder if the Bracketville people realize they have 6 games in Charlotte and only 2 in Omaha. :D

(Obviously oversight and KU would be Omaha, as a 2 seed).

If ISU is a 3, for some of those 3v14 options, I'd rather have Akron or High Point, not so much Vermont or Morehead State.

If Purdue remains a 1 and were to draw an 8 seed TCU or TT in the 32 round, oof.

It's a tough draw from a seeding standpoint but I don't think either would be particularly tough for Purdue to dispatch.

with updates trickling in from yesterday, we still sit on the 4 line. (even palm from CBS has us there!)

Alabama and Wisconsin being that high is preposterous. Wisconsin has done nothing but beat Marquette and a bunch of marginal Big 10 teams, mostly at home. They should be a 5 seed at best with that schedule.

Alabama has nothing but a bunch of quality losses and home wins. How and why is that #3 seed material? It's not.

Alabama Team Sheet: (I couldn't fit the addition Q1 game they have against Ole Miss)

Wisconsin has a much better resume than, say, Alabama. 6 Q1 wins would be tied for 2nd most in the nation.

@CoachHines3 I know what they should be, but your ranges are off in your quads. Not sure if you have a template saved or if you are pulling those ranges directly from a source, but they are off/there are gaps in them. Q1 home should be 1-30 (for example) with away being 1-75, etc. Not complaining, just pointing it out in case it's something you can/want to fix.

I'm a part time Badger fan, and those wins over MSU should be each downgraded a level. I feel like Sparty deserves to be somewhere in the 40-50 range but for whatever reason they're 22.

The away win would be a regular Q1 and the home win a Q2.

Yes, thats correct.. they just break it down from 1-15 home and 16-30 home.

I don't know how Mich St is ranked 22 in Net. That's a disgusting over rank right there. Same with Virginia for that matter.

Their most impressive win, by far, is against Marquette. They beat a weak and disgustingly overrated Mich St team twice, a down Virginia team once, and a so so at best SMU team. They haven't show they can beat anyone with a pulse on the road, and have one of the weakest resumes of "quad 1" victories in the entire field. There's a really good chance SMU and the home Mich St game fall out of this quadrant. The road loss at Penn State is pretty brutal, even if not reflected by the quad.

When comparing our Q1 wins are better, most of our losses are better, and our Q2 loss is leaps and bounds better. There is nothing that points to Wisconsin being better than us or a handful of other teams. If anything I think the quad games, especially when examinging them indvidually, prove as much.

There are games every year where a team really shows up and ones where they really don't. Michigan State probably played it's best game of the year while Baylor played it's worst. That still doesn't explain the 22 net ranking for a 14-8 team that desperately lacks stand out victories.

MSU has been overranked all year. Werent they #4 when they laid an egg against James Madison?
