Just pulled the trigger on a Bosch dish washer. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about one, but now that I pulled the trigger, I'm sure I'm about to find out how they are the biggest POS dishwashers made. :)
We've had one for almost 4 years and it's been great, would buy another.

VERY quiet, and does what it's supposed to do very well. We pre-wash pretty well, OTOH dishes set for several days until there's a full load, so there's potential for dried residue.

You will love it … will take some time to get use to how it drys.
Ours does not dry, at least as you might expect based on older models. It doesn't have a dry setting. However, I do need to either let it sit for a while after the cycle is done. OR, if I can't wait for that, to open the door, slide out the lower rack, then shake the upper rack to empty as much collected water as possible and let the hot air come out. Will have to towel or air dry most of the load.

I've had one for several years, since we added on to our kitchen, probably around 2008 (don't remember.) For the most part I'm OK with it and it's never broken, stopped, leaked or had any issues. However, the top rack was really not built for cups/glasses and bowls, to tilt enough to stay upright and not collect water in the bottom (facing up.) It's the reason I say I will not buy another dishwasher of any brand without making sure my dishes and glasses fit the way I want them to. Meaning I will take various glasses, bowls, etc. with me to try out in the store.
This should be how appliance stores are. Just bring in a load of dishes or laundry and run them for a cycle. You can see how well it washes and if it's as quiet as advertised. Bring the kids and let them draw on it with various things and throw different size sports balls at things to see how well they clean up and if they dent easily. The sales guy has you leave the door open on the dishwasher so you can walk into it, sure it broke your shin but just look how the door isn't damaged. I think I might open up a store like this

Well since my current one seems to have lost the ability to dry......

This one has the 3rd level dedicated to utensils, which I think will work well for us.

We picked cars before the race. In a strange twist of fate I chose #60 for the colors and because the primary sponsor was buildsubmarines.com...and that amused me. He was in second for about 10 laps but then they lapped a car and he got stuck back about 6 rows in the outside line. Spun out in the crash just at the end of the penultimate lap. :(

Thinking of you guys when I saw race was delayed. Thinking of folks who flew in with intention of flying out Monday.

I'm dying here. We're riding in the back seat of our son's rental and our DIL has the heat jacked up to 76. I'm in a t-shirt and overheating; she complained she's cold so I offered her my jacket, but nope...she turned the heat up to 78. She's wearing a long sleeved t, a flannel shirt, and a thigh length puffy coat zipped up to the neck.
I don't think she's human.
