Still think Bueckers is a better all-around player than Clark. Injuries have just derailed her career.
Not even close now.

Maybe pre-injury, but not now.

I actually cheered for Iowa and CC and I am no fan.

But my word, Mulkey and that team do not deserve to win.

Do people know LSU basketball LOST almost $8 million last year to win the title?

LSU Women’s Basketball Team Operated at $7.8 Million Deficit

The program's total expenses were around $10.3 million, with coaches' salaries accounting for $4.4 million. However, the program, despite winning the national championship, only netted $2.5 million in revenue last year.

WTF they have Bueckers throw the ball in? Get her the ball to shoot the Free Throws.

Looks like I'm going to have to quit following sports for my own health and sanity and go live on Mars for the foreseeable future.

Do you live out of state?

CC gets lots of national pub but if you're not in Iowa at least you don't feel like you're being pulled into a cult by watching any local channels.

If you would like to comment on the games and matchups etc, this is the thread. If you just want to engage in rivals banter, trolling and dissing than take it to the rivals forum.

This cuts both ways, for Cyclone and Hawks. Deleted 8 posts and had one user timeout already this a.m.

Behind you

Apparently at its peak it was 16 million. For a WBB Elite Eight game. Crazy. For reference, last year's Sugar Bowl CFP semifinal between Texas and Washington drew 18.7 million. Moral of the story IMO... sports fans like storylines.

And TV execs will be loving the UConn/Iowa game. A Final Four Paige Bueckers vs Caitlin Clark matchup is probably another crazy big TV draw.

I do not like Iowa. I hope they lose every game in every sport.

Clark is the best womens player EVER.
She is incredible. The ultimate creator with the BB. She can score from anywhere and her passing is extraordinary. She deserves a ton of credit for the increased popularity of WBB.

I expect some hate / but just calling it as I see it.

Odds were low but looks like no Davis this weekend:

Tough to watch but you have to really be steeped deep into Hawk hate to not acknowledge how much Bluder cares about her gals after watching this. Maybe she can at least dress for the game Friday. Or not, guess I'd let her choose.
