I have actually never even heard of that movie. There are a couple others in the tournament that I have heard of but have not seen.
Yeah I'm guessing you're a good bit younger. To anyone who played HS football in the 80s and early 90s, All the Right Moves was the sh*t. "6-2 STACK MONSTER! 6-2 STACK MONSTER! READY, BREAK!"

I started playing foosball in the early 90s and have been a huge movie person all my life. Somehow this one got by me. I remember The Program coming out I think my freshman year of high school.

After some issues with my rental car. I just got to an AirBnB in middle of nowhere Iowa for a wedding and won’t post too many pictures yet until I leave but there is a TV in the bedroom with a VHS player attached to it.

Below the TV in a stack of movies, there is a SEALED COPY OF CADDYSHACK on VHS.

Flipping through channels last night and saw the end of Space Jam. This has probably already been addressed somewhere, but I don't recall why the committee didn't include Space Jam. It would have been a high seed for me.

Long Gone is a very underrated baseball movie. About a minor league team in the 50s, the Tampico Stogies. William Peterson, Dermot Mulroney, Virginia Madsen, Larry Riley.
Might be underrated, but Hoosiers is one of the best sports movies ever made.

I posted this I think in the RTT but one aspect of Hoosiers I had either not realized or just forgot about was how for the championship game, the opponent isn't the typical sports movie cliche of the evil bully coach and dirty players that bothers the heroes the whole movie.

It's just two teams playing hard and making plays, and in the end Hickory makes the winning ones. The coaches are extremely cordial etc.

Imo it's this kind of detail that separates it from the rest.

For those that say because CF age skews older that older stuff will always win out the in progress upset of Raging Bull is proving that theory wrong.

Trying to think if a 1 or 2 has lost in 1st round of these. Pretty sure no 1's have. I know some 2's have lost in 2nd round but not sure about 1st round.

Raging Bull is a great movie. I mean…great movie. I can see why it might be polarizing though. In no universe should it be losing to The Rookie however.

I absolutely love Major League. My one beef with it is how weirdly they jammed that love story into it. Everything else about it is hysterical awesomeness.

The love story itself has funny moments though. Great movie. Easy #1 seed imo.

As an MJ guy I will always have a heart for the Original Space Jam, but don't think it's worthy of being in a top 64 sports movie bracket imo.

Off the top of my head, you're correct on both.

Among the 5(?) previous tournaments in the series, I think maybe only a couple of 13 or 14 seeds have advanced. Again, going strictly by memory. I'd have to check my file.
