I've been working so much I haven't noticed if the sweet corn/ tomato stands are out around Des Moines yet?

Miracle Whip is better than mayo on a BLT. And if you aren't using creamy peanut butter on your BLT you're missing out.

Just trying to get back on-topic here....:)

Spread the mayo on the outside of the bread, then throw that sucker in a skillet. couple slabs of homemade bacon, lettuce, and a shot of spicy mustard, and you're set

I've transitioned from Hellman's Light to Duke's and am very happy about it.
I will go back and forth between Hellman's and Dukes. Both are good.

Also, making your own mayo is very easy, and is fantastic. Just need an egg, oil, vinegar/lemon juice, mustard and a stick blender/food processor. It's incredibly versatile, too. Add in garlic or hot sauce or balsamic vinegar or curry powder or basil or any number of other things and you can tailor it to any dish you want.
Homemade is as good or better than anything you can buy at the store.

Grew up with basic thin bacon, not too thick tomatoes, iceberg, yellow mustard, and Miracle Whip on standard white sandwich bread. As I became an adult, still like thinner bacon, not too thick tomatoes, romaine lettuce, Hellman's mayo, yellow mustard, on Brownberry Oatnut bread, lightly toasted. Occasionally will make BLTA's and will drop the mustard in that case.

Wife makes homemade tartar sauce when we do fish and chips and the same is true, it's pretty amazing. I've been playing around with making my own BBQ sauce, results have been mixed but the good has been really good.
