Yeah I really cared what the price of madden was when I was 13. Do you ever tire of being you?
You can hate me all you want but these games are as cheap if not cheaper than they’ve ever been. Be happy your parents bought you whatever games they did back then.

Give them a call too, you never know when you can’t anymore.

Couple of disappointing things I've picked up reading an AMA on reddit.

-No Formation Subs
-Can't change numbers on players. Even the auto generated ones.
-No mass subs.
-4 and 5 star players still go without offers.
People are absolutely losing their minds on reddit over not being able to change numbers on players. That's such a small factor to the game that the outrage makes no sense to me. I don't think I've ever edited a players number dating back to NCAA 05.

Formation subs and mass subs are a bummer.

The dynasty recruiting footage people are referencing is from the beta build. I'd be shocked if EA hasnt corrected the logic issues that are being seen in the videos.

Yeah, I don't care about that at all. Formation subs are disappointing, but not the end of the world. Mass subs would be nice as well, but again, not game breaking by any means

The top 3 things are definitely bummers but I'd have to imagine they'll patch that in and change it at some point. Too much outcry for them to just leave it like that for a year

I think not being able to change the numbers is a real bummer, I have traditions I use for numbers at certain positions and always give my stud position players single digit numbers. It adds some depth to dynasty for me. I understand with NIL why they aren't going to allow this but formation subs/mass subs had been around forever, its weird that they aren't in the game.

That would be why I bought a damned Xbox. F*ckers.
It makes no sense, obviously there is work involved to port it to pc (idk if that is even the right term anymore) but all triple A games that come out on both Xbox and PlayStation come out on PC at the same time. And especially now that Microsoft has integrated the Xbox and PC ecosystems, it just seems lazy.
Madden has been on PC for years (I still think crossplay isn't a thing though, for no reason)

Maybe they thought there weren't any PC nerds who liked college football to warrant the extra money involved...WE EXIST! THERE ARE DOZENS OF US! DOZENS!

Really don't care about the jersey numbers thing, but the unrecruited 4-5 star players bug is still there? It's been 10 freaking years, EA, how is that crap still making its way back into Dynasty??

Also, no mass subs makes very little sense given how much fatigue is going to factor into a player's injury rate and game performance.

I think EA wants to stave off the modding community as much as possible. Madden is one thing, but maybe the possibility of PC Mods in the college game opens them up to potential lawsuits somehow.

I've heard the Madden ports to PC kinda suck but I've never played one. I actually just played 24 on the Xbox yesterday to try it out and get back in the groove. Haven't played in years.

That's also why I got the Xbox too, I had some friends commit to doing an online dynasty...but those are distinctly not cross play. So we all agreed to do it on Xbox only. I don't really have any PC friends interested in CFB.

Speaking of Madden, am I just that bad at the game now, or are there so many damn skill checks and play/button mechanics now that it's incredibly hard to play at a high level? I did a bunch of the trainings to get familiar and then played a normal game of the Super Bowl rematch....narrowly won 14-7 only on Pro difficult. I've never been the guy able to hang 50+ on All-Madden before and I sure as **** am not now.

Is it a bug or is it an intentional feature to help make it easier to build a dynasty? I’m sure in this game, once you learn the ins and outs you’ll have to set recruiting rules on yourself to keep it challenging. Like in the old games.

I’m a little annoyed about no formation and no mass subs because it seems so simple. But oh well.

I agree. The subs thing is nuts considering one of their big new features is the wear and tear system.

They sold less than 100k copies of NCAA 14 on PC. The juice isn't worth the squeeze.

It might be nowadays since PC gaming volume is substantially larger today than it was 10 years ago, but it doesn't seem a lot of that tracks specifically to sports games. There must be some appetite since they keep them up for Madden (which I know is itself a little unfair, since the pro games handily outsell the college ones in general), but I'm not surprised they didn't come out of the gate with one this time.

But it is for every other game that has a PC version ? I have no data to back it up but I would guess the percentage of gamers who now game primarily on the PC has increased a lot in 10 years.
The NCAA 14 wiki says "NCAA Football 14 was a commercial success, selling over 1 million copies." So its not like it was an insignificant amount.
Anyways, oh well.
