I don't get these unis lol. They are the uniforms they used in the 2010s. As of a couple years ago they were using these unis. Weird to "throwback" to four years ago.
Their new uniforms and logo are more of a throwback than the "throwback" uniform.
The uniforms you are referring to were throwbacks to uniforms they wore in the 60s, including in SB3 - albeit, they were rendered in a mossy, military type green for some reason... These new ones are nearer to the old green, but quite a bit brighter I think

It's only the uniform they wore in Super Bowl III.

Maybe the most famous game of professional football ever played -- the one that "sealed" the merger and legitimized the American Football League as an equal to the National Football League.

Certainly the most important game in Jets' history.

The uniform associated with the man who personifies the franchise to this day.

You know. No biggies regarding team and NFL lore.

These Jets throwbacks are gorgeous and should be their full-time look.

1. Every Jets uniform this year is a throwback of some sort (the current standard ones are throwbacks to the 1980s-90s)
2. These Jets uniforms were not very well liked when they were the standard uniforms in the 2000s -2010s. People just have fond memories of them now because what replaced them were awful (and not the current set)

TBF they are modern renditions of their uniforms back in the 1960s, which is why they’re referred to as “throwback”. And while people like them now, they weren’t highly regarded in the 2000s-10s when they were the standard uniform. Points back to what I said a couple of weeks ago “be careful about going back to a throwback uniform full time - the reason why they’re popular is because they’re not worn all the time, and if they are people will start pining for something else.”

As my brother told me "The Prohm era is finally gone" and the candy canes will never be seen again.
They are perfect
