Have to wonder if TT and KU have devised a way to take advantage of how thin we are at LB. Sure seems like that may be true.
They all certainly ran in our C gaps (including UCF here), a lot of time pulling 2 OL, like the ol' counter-trey action.
All 3 also exposed our safeties to some long pass plays. Definitely found ways to expose there, too.
Dom Orange out hurts our D tremendously, especially against the run.
M Verdon out must also be really hurting our defensive backfield, too, which also led to our lack of communication back there.

Eerily reminds me of when we lost Mike Rose, which I don't want to think about.

There is a lot wrong with this team, including tons of injuries, but Rocco is not "fine". He shows flashes, but is not consistent enough for this level.
Honestly, it’s too many different personnel groupings and schemes. Just spread and pass. He can sling it when he gets in a rhythm. The heavy set needs buried and forgotten.

I’m sorry so late. drunk at the game

The INT to Higgins should have never been thrown. Doubled underneath and Noel was wide open deep.

Wide open.

KU just pushed the routes way down field. They didn’t even look at the underneath routes. They flooded the deep secondary. UCF kind of did this too. I don’t really remember how TTech exploited it. I was drunk.

Our secondary isn’t very good at coverage and makes up for their poor coverage with an extra safety. But our LBs need a lot of help right now so the safeties are kind of stuck in no man’s land.
Our linebackers have really been exposed the last few games
