If Frost had a bad weight cut, it probably wouldn’t be the last by guys on the team with all the big cuts happening.
Any chance it was more than a bad cut? It was initially "reported" here that Frost had gotten hurt in warmpus, now he's pulling out of the All Star Classic. I think we need him to be anywhere near this team's best.

Who tf cares about losing a non-con meet? I can't believe some of y'all are seriously that pissed that some freshman got some mat time. CD said everyone will be ready for the Iowa meet. If we still have 3+ guys out, then we can start to complain.
People who expect a NCAA tournament placing team to compete like one. Will you not care if we lose to ******* Navy but got some freshman mat time?

Comparing Stanford to Navy is certainly a choice. My advice to everyone: step off the ledge and relax. Dresser has been doing this a long time and is not one to duck opponents. He’s proven that. Everyone that was held out was held out because they were not the best option at the weight for the dual from various circumstances. Nobody wants to win more than Dresser, and I’m sure that loss ate at him more than most of the people posting on this board. We’ll be fine

All I know is you won't see something like that with the Brands when they wrestle in front of 14,000 people. I do hope these injuries that happened before the year isn't something to be concerned about all season.
Listen I wish as much as anybody that duals meant something, but they don't. If Frost doesn't make weight for nationals or tanks the rest of the season due to weight issues I'll be as mad as anybody but getting mad about a dual in November with the state of the sport just isn't worth your time.

This is dumb because we don’t duck and Brands is known for ducking.

I'm not going to overreact to the loss. I was disappointed but not shocked.

But if the duals truly mean nothing, why am I and 7,000 others spending $99 for each season ticket, plus Johnny's passes, plus gas and time to attend. I'm pretty sure KD wouldn't agree that duels, even in November, mean nothing. Of course they matter. Or am I just a sucker?

I think people mean that the duals don't matter when it comes to the post season. Yes, we as fans want them to win them all. However, with so much of our lineup being out it's not exactly a shock that we lost......and all the comments about us ducking are way overboard.

First of all comparing Navy to Stanford is wild. Second, the guys were held out for a reason and it had zero impact on the rankings. Back off the ledge.

Do you enjoy going? I am a season ticket holder so I say they don’t matter as someone who doesn’t miss a meet. They are still fun because of the high level wrestling we get to see. But no in terms of competitive standing the team scores of the dual do not matter even the tiniest amount.

Yeah you won’t find an argument from me there, like I said I wish they did matter.

I’m not sure how that’s relevant to the conversation you started.
Well you said they were ducking people, they clearly win in front of their fans. My whole point is everyone I know who left Hilton on Friday was pissed. You don't build attendance with that crap. I hope we see a different line up on Friday...

They duck people all the time. At home, on the road and in tournaments. I’m not sure how that is relevant to them winning duals at home vs teams not named Penn State.
