Has the rot started to creep in?

Well you and I disagree on that one. What do you think our record would be if we had $0.00 to pay players? You tryna line up at qb?

I would but I’m out of eligibility.

Convenient justification to not donate. And it applies to nearly every charitable situation.
Donating means you give and have no expectations of getting anything in return. I’m not interested in tying financial giving to expectations.

Can you answer the question that I asked? What would our record be if we had $0.00 to pay players?

Priorities in my life have changed from when I created this account. I have more important things to spend my money than bankrolling a college sports roster.
Ahh yes donating $5/month to help our team is useless. Spend your time whining about that team online. Much better ROI

I know you havent. All I’m trying to do is show people something they can do to help rather than sitting in front of a computer complaining

If I donated $5/mo and saw the same clusterfuck week in and week out; I’d complain more, not less. I’d be wasting both money and more time.

That’s 10000% fine with me brother. You’d be doing something to help. Put some cash in and complain all you want. I’ll give you my phone number so you can vent to me

Bingo!

I love Iowa State University. The best years of my life were spent there. I had a child that also graduated from there. It's the best!

And I've always been a huge ISU fan in sports since I can remember... since grade school 45 years ago. When I was at ISU... the football team was awful. Would only win like a game or two a year, but we always were there... when hardly anyone else was by the way.

I used to also have season tickets too... but over the years the college game has just really been a big turn off. I still try to go to a few games every year when I can. But it's just not important enough to me anymore to donate any money whatsoever. It could seriously end tomorrow... and I'd be just fine.

I just know some mediocre football when I see it... and we see quite a bit of it. You all may feel differently... which is just fine. If it's all unicorns and rainbows to you... that's awesome! I mean it. It's just pretty blah to me. So much opportunity left on the field. But whatever.

I have 7 kids. They are more important than paying for a football team. Don’t call people cheap when you have no clue about their financial situation

So you really have nothing invested in this team. Just a loud never satisfied fan who thinks everyone should listen to their mindless complaints on a message board. Shouldn’t you be working at something instead of wasting your time posting complaints. You have 7 kids. Do something.

When have I complained about this team?

Like I said earlier, I may have, but I’m generally pretty positive.

I don’t know what your problem is.

If ISU were 10-0 right now would you think they're mediocre?

Are you expecting recruiting to get better to make up for that? Or do you think they're stacked with blue blood/NFL level talent and the rest is coaching?

Where do you expect ISU to be ranked in Power Index, Strength of Schedule, etc?
