You thought that game was close? I thought Utahs offense looked like crap. If Colorado wouldn't have kept shooting themselves in the foot in the first half it would have been even worse.I know Utah got beat by Colorado by a lot, but that game was actually much closer than it was (like ours) The previous 3 games they lost by a TOTAL of 10 points. Just saying I would stay away from that spread is all.
I’m looking forward to ISU coming back to Provo. But if they do this Saturday, they will have to forfeit, since Utah is in Salt Lake City, about 50 miles north.Given how much injuries have decimated our roster this season, we should all be elated that we're sitting at 8-2 right now. ANY additional win from here on out is just gravy.
Hopefully, we go into Provo with a loose attitude and we let it rip.
My bad. I get them mixed up with BYU, which I'm sure is unforgivable in Utah.I’m looking forward to ISU coming back to Provo. But if they do this Saturday, they will have to forfeit, since Utah is in Salt Lake City, about 50 miles north.
The good news is the bar scene is a lot more lively in SLC for those making the trip and who will want to either celebrate or commiserate afterwards.
Extremely unforgivable. It would be like confusing Iowa State and Iowa.My bad. I get them mixed up with BYU, which I'm sure is unforgivable in Utah.
That's surprising to me. I don't want to be a downer, but I didn't come away from the Cinci victory feeling like anything substantial had changed for ISU. Cinci had 13 penalties, several of them dubious, and their QB missed numerous wide-open receivers. The game was closer than the final score would indicate and did little for my confidence moving forward. We are favored by 5.5pts?!
If I am not mistaken, ISU has been favored in every conference game this year. Therefore, I am not surprised with being favored @ Utah. That's surprising to me. I've been a Cyclone fan since my freshman year of HS in 1978, I'm now in my 60's and I want a conference title as bad as anybody - it's there to be seized but we're simply run out of bodies. We snuck by Cinci by dropping eight and trying to keep everything in front. Our LBers are young, inexperienced and slow - I'd rather see them attacking every down than sitting back and getting washed out.
But are there Truck Stops in either place?Extremely unforgivable. It would be like confusing Iowa State and Iowa.
Speaking of which, we got to our seats at last night's BYU-Kansas game and there were two people already sitting there. One had a University of Indiana hat, the other had a University of Iowa hat. I let the Iowa guy know exactly what I thought of him.
Just kidding, it was a decent exchange. He was from Ankeny and graduated from the University of Iowa medical school. They were just in the state for a vacation and thought it would be fun to go to a random game. They left and went to their correct seats once we pointed out they were in the wrong spot.
When have you ever seen CMC let it rip?Given how much injuries have decimated our roster this season, we should all be elated that we're sitting at 8-2 right now. ANY additional win from here on out is just gravy.

First play of the season comes to mind. When have you ever seen CMC let it rip?
My guess would be the game plan is to go in and outlast and grind them down to a win.
