Wondering that as well. How much will we see Audi and Alisa on the floor at the same time this year?

So many good guards, but it appears CBF will have a difficult time keeping Williams off the floor-depending on matchups.

We could really pound the paint with both of them in the game al la Standford last year.

My memory from that Standford game, other than we almost won, was Cameron Brink swearing at the ISU bench (also might have been the ref standing by the ISU bench) after she fouled out.

Yeah, if you are getting a soft whistle all game and didn't really earn your fouls I could see that reaction from Brinks. But honestly she got away with a ton of contact in that game and could have easily been whistled on 10 plays for obvious fouls, not just 5, in that game.

And I forgot that Audi got totally slammed to the floor on that play and she didn't even get to shoot free throws when she was obviously in a shooting motion.

Fair enough If BF doesn't try this line up, I'm not actually sure where Alisa is going to get her minutes. She looks so good to be splitting backup minutes with Lilly.

IIRC She had a season ending injury fairly early on.

CBF said after the exhibition game that once Lilly was back they would look at playing Alisa at the 4 with Audi at the 5.

I am guessing the threes fall. Not sure what to think about Williams. We have seen her have one good game in a glorified scrimmage and in foul trouble the next game. Not much to go on.

Yeah, just saw that. I was expecting us at around #16. The chatter on some nation fan boards was not very complementary on us so far this season. That's from national fans that watch a lot of games and tuned into ESPN+ to watch the UNI and Drake games. Figured Iowa would crack the 25.


Big 12 and other future opponents:

• UConn at #2
• South Carolina drops to #5
• Iowa at #22
• KSU at #9
• WVU at #12
• TCU at #17
• Baylor fall all the way from #18 to not ranked at #28

I posted somewhere that I thought #16 would be "fair" but maybe #20 would be more accurate until we show in some P5 games that we look like a a NCAA hosting team. Early polls other than heavy favorites for the Final Four are sort of a crap shot. Teams haven't fully come together yet and the schedules are uneven at best.

I lot of the early hype was based on us taking Stanford to OT but that took Ryan having a career night. Even with a pre-season "on paper" with some good portal adds being at #8 was a bit high flying considering we ended the season by squeaking in at #25,
