Iowa State free throws in Maui: 67 of 81 (82%)

Might not be able to maintain that percentage, but it’s notable compared to recent seasons. Percentage is encouraging, but also getting to the line a lot.
That is a great thing to see as that has seemed to be a low point and in tough games, every point matters

Even with playing a bunch of non-con cupcakes they still had a better resume than UNC for the 4th 1 seed. Dayton is a perennial contender in the A10 and should stay Q1 but they don’t carry the same value as beating a big name team in the committee’s eyes.
Cuz they played well in the Big 12. And the same applies this year.. They will need to finish top 2 in Big 12 most likely to get a 1 seed.

This applies regardless of Auburn outcome.

Last year they got beat by what amounted to bad teams in the T-giving tourney. This year the did not. It's night and day

Great showing. Excellent bouncebacks for the team after Monday night and individually by Lipsey today. Outstanding job by TJ and the staff of not letting a hangover kick in after a heartbreaker.

We got better minute by minute the last two days and you can't underestimate the value of being able to consistently generate offense out of the post. Defense travels and if we can win a lot of games in a lot of places if we can maintain anything close to this kind of offensive efficiency to go with it. Lots to be excited about coming out of here 2-1.

Always hate going out to Carver. So many times where I thought we were the far better team then get handled out there. I will never guarantee that one.
Marquette is going to be the the hardest game outside of playing Auburn and I feel much more confident about that game than I do playing in Carver.
Dix and Payton will probably go 13-16 from three.

50% chance we lose in Boulder. We suck out there. Always have.
Since that game is only a month from now, I'm sure the Buffs will have it circled on their calendar. We pretty much humiliated them today. Hopefully, we're so much better than them that it won't matter.
