Doesn't Kenpom start phasing that stuff out as the season goes along though? I seem to remember by the new calendar year he pretty much removes all of the prior season stuff and simply goes by the current season performance.
Auburn is going to be ranked #2 with lots of #1 votes, surely we can't drop too far for a last second loss to the #2 team on a neutral court.
Call me crazy but ISU may be #3 come MondayAuburn is going to be ranked #2 with lots of #1 votes, surely we can't drop too far for a last second loss to the #2 team on a neutral court.
I think this is going to be a great college basketball season.
The Big 12 will be a pretty tough league it seems.DeVries & WVU are gonna beat Gonzaga![]()
If Auburn wins Maui, w/ Gonzaga losing to WVU (UConn losing at least twice), ISU isn't going to drop, and probably should riseAuburn is going to be ranked #2 with lots of #1 votes, surely we can't drop too far for a last second loss to the #2 team on a neutral court.
I truly think Iowa fumbled the bag with DeVries. They likely could have gotten him if they were smart and parted ways with Fran.

I won't be surprised if we move up to #3.
That would be awesome and it would be justified, but I'm doubtful it will happen. Would love to be wrong on that! My guess is we might remain at #5 or maybe drop a notch or two.I won't be surprised if we move up to #3.
It was just a bonus they got the kid.
Iowa would have been better off rolling the dice on 3-4 coaches over an entire generation of Fran. This last missed opportunity is just the worst of many.
It genuinely makes me sad. I grew up a huge Iowa basketball fan, it's so incredibly mediocre now compared to then. Lick just scarred the program for life, they're totally paralyzed.

That family bleeds black and gold. He would have taken it in a second and now he's gone. West Virginia is a better job.I truly think Iowa fumbled the bag with DeVries. They likely could have gotten him if they were smart and parted ways with Fran.
