We just went 2-1 in Maui with a blowout win, a solid win against a tournament team, and a last second loss against KenPom #1 and people want to second guess our highly successful coach about who the 9th man off the bench should be.

Never change, CF.

Not me, I'm having fun watch us try to work things out with a crazy deep team.

This elite backcourt...it's cool seeing them find their unique specialties.

They're the same people who second guess the greatest football coach in ISU history, the coach who is currently one game away from playing for a Big 12 Championship and an NCAA playoff spot.

yeah, i think it actually took a half court shot to force OT with that team.

Justus had one of the greatest buzzer beaters I have ever seen at CU.

I remember that, was at ISU at the time. I still, to this day, don't understand the freak-out at the end of the game by the CU coach. Thigpen left the floor a mile before the three point line. If he wanted to argue weather or not he got it off in time, fine, but how is it a question whether his feet were behind the line or not?

Agree!

Love engaging with fans sharing opinions on a fanatical sports message board, particularly opinions about bench players. It’s fun - we’re all diehards here. Hell, I STILL for the life of me cannot understand how Tristian Enaruna had such a short leash in year 1 - dude was so damn talented! He got benched even when he did play hard, rebound well, etc. Anyway… ;)

Awesome win today, and damn solid showing in Maui!

Great times ahead this season! #LFG

Lots of free throws early in the year. Refs calling fouls at a higher rate which inflates point totals.

Also teams have fresher legs early on higher percentage of jumpers going in. 3 point shooting is amazing in games I have watched.

Lots of good defensive teams struggling early on.
I think we should consider that the team this year may be not quite as good defensively as last year, but a magnitude of order better offensively.

Which is what is needed to be a Final Four team.

Just try to step back and enjoy the success this tournament.
Oh I am. Noting the trolls who disappear when we win is part of that enjoyment.

You could take your own advice fishing for likes guy.

Many posters so badly want there to be some anti-ISU coaching cabal. TJ is an elite coach in his sport. Campbell just isn’t.
I don't know about "elite" (that word is so over used), but what I do know is he's the greatest football coach in ISU's history. If that's not good enough for you, then I guess that's your issue.

I know, I completely invent fans like this!

Another moral victory to add to the extensive collection.

100%. Lots of CFers seemingly pretty happy about another nice little moral victory here. How anyone can be pleased with blowing a 16-point halftime lead (especially in the manner it happened, come out after the half and get your doors completely blown off) is beyond me.

Now I don't mind losing tonight so we can play UConn tomorrow and put them into last place.
