I didn't watch the game but going over the box score what's going on with Lipsey? 1 foul but only 26 minutes?
Had 4 steals, and we really didn’t need him to ball out, glad to see his minutes being managed because he’s going to go full tilt every minute he’s in

Chatfield/Homan, Potato/Potahto
He really does have a lot of Homan in him. I know it seems like a cliche on first blush given size and white guy and all, but watching his game and similar size I see it. That said, I think Homan was a little better shooter (not to put Chatfield down because Homan was a starter on an NCAA tourney team and played European pro ball so it's not a slight) and Homan could step out and hit some face up jumpers. I haven't seen Chatfield do that yet.. Would be a great weapon if he can add it to his arsenal and I would think get him a bit more playing time. I think they could be pretty similar in other areas though.

I think we should consider that the team this year may be not quite as good defensively as last year, but a magnitude of order better offensively.

Which is what is needed to be a Final Four team.
Yes I’ll gladly take this trade off. Our bigs will keep getting better on the defensive end, but I don’t think they can do what Jones and Ward could. But they clearly have more offensive skill.

Still plenty to work on, but a very successful tourney.

He's a lot slower than Homan. And Homan would probably win in a street fight. And Homan had a 19 pts and 20 rebounds against eventual champ UNC in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. Chatfield is a nice player off the bench. I think the only comparison is that they are both white.

Watching our bigs against lesser team I really felt the bigs lack of athleticism would be our downfall but they look pretty good this week.

Best game we have played this year, the Auburn game we played a better first half, but for complete game, today was it. Offense hitting shots from the outside was the key, Milan was looking for his shot today, he needs to do more of that, and the bigs were not forcing it, just taking what is there and rebounding. Defense is still a work in progress, still giving up to many easy three's on the back in, but it will get there. Overall just a great three days of basketball.

Chatfield is improving every game. He is going to be a key part of how we do in conference.

We really have 3.5 bigs now with little drop off - counting Milan as 1/2 a big as his strength and def this year will let him eat up a bit of the inside defense.

As good as Tinsley/Fizer was, that team had next to nothing for depth. Depth makes a huge difference in altitudes. This team is quite a bit different depth wise.
Paul Shirley and Rancik were hurt down the stretch so that hurt the depth. I think for a good stretch of games, Hawkins was the only bench player playing. LE was stubborn, he probably should have used Evans more, he did pretty good when he had to come in at CU in the double overtime loss.

Testifying
Colorado AD was very vocal during the game.
Criticizing refs, yelling at players.
Kind of embarrassing.
