Ok..
#1 KU possible loss tonight
#2 Aub is behind
#3 Tenn really hasnt played anyone Only ranked is Baylor that just lost 3rd game.
#4 Kentucky Lost last night
#5 Marq just lost to us.
#6 ISU just beat #5 Marq, lost by last sec shot to #2 earlier.

Where would you rank ISU? If #1,#2,#4,#5 all took losses this week?
Considering our strength of schedule and fact our only loss was at the buzzer to #2, we could be ranked #1.

Does make it harder if we are gunning for a 1 seed. Might end up with less losses, but getting quad 1 wins also harder. Glad we are off to a much better start than last year.
Down doesn't mean there won't be quad 1 wins. The league is still going to be tough as hell.

I think we are the best team in the Big 12 and it might not be all that close at the moment. I thought KU was overrated from the get go this year,

KU's overrated most years... and every time they weren't they've had a lot of refereeing help and/or ongoing FBI investiagtions.

Crazy how great otz has been. Beat a top 5 team and no one really bats an eye
(Although I suspect"top 10 teams" have sort of lost their luster now with nil and transfer portal making the playing field more even)

You all crack me up. I was coaching hoops so quick checked this thread, didn't see a score but from the sounds of the posts, we went from up double digits to down 25 lol. I looked and we were still up 7-8 points.

Think there were some ghosts from the Auburn game lingering.

But I question if some people are cut out to be basketball fans if they can't handle the other team making a run.

"from the game notes"

History will be made Wednesday night, as No. 6 Iowa State hosts No. 5 Marquette in the Big 12/BIG EAST Battle at Hilton Coliseum.

It will be the 32nd Top 15 game in program history and the 13th in Hilton Coliseum, but will be the first to feature the Cyclones against a non-conference opponent.
Top teams do their best to avoid Hilton.
