No reason whatsoever for Tamin to even be dressed for this game... let the kid rest up. Please!

There is if his shoulder is getting better and they want him to get some offense going.

I'll leave that decision to the myriad of coaches, trainers, etc. that have been at practice and know what's needed or not.

Agree. I don't want him playing hurt as he did last year. If we're going to reach our full potential, we need Tamin healthy for Big XII games. I'm for letting him sit out all games until the first conference game, including Iowa even if we lose that one.

Agreed. Tamin is always going to be somewhat hurt. He plays too rough to not be. He can play through this. Even if he takes time off, he will most likely immediately re-injure the shoulder once he starts playing again. I have 100% faith in our basketball coaches to not put a player on the court that shouldn’t be on the court. Tamin needs to get comfortable playing with his bum shoulder because it is going to be a season long thing regardless.

And if he plays and tweaks it there will be a bunch of rabble rabble about it like he couldn't tweak it testing it out in practice or putting on a seat belt or a bunch of stuff that can set off an injury.

Hangover from yesterday's loss is going to be so big we beat them by only 20.

This is really silly, but I suppose based on other posts from you that is par for the course by now.

I'm sure that there are some cross-program friendships between the football and basketball teams, but if the BB team really suffers from some sort of residual hangover effect from yesterday's turd of a game then the basketball team has some really issues around mental toughness and resilience, which I don't expect at all to happen.

Fans don't play the game and I'd hope it's not up to them to will ISU to victory or be the difference between a 20 or 40 point game.
