Overshadowed in the Jerome Tang payback game is the Coleman Hawkins revenge game aspect - the tourney game has to be bugging the returners - and getting a chance to embarrass Hawkins (after he left a great thing for his bag) has to be a motivator

KSU played (by far?) their best two games last week, beating WVU and stomping OSU.

Starters:
Coleman Hawkins, the 6'10" Illinois transfer, isn't scoring well - but leads them in Minutes, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, Turnovers and Fouls.

Dug McDaniels, the 5'11" PG Michigan transfer, hasn't translated very well either. He's averaging just under 10 ppg, shooting 24% from three

Brendan Hausen, a 6'4" Villanova transfer, is shooting 41% from three with the most makes in the conference. He basically only shoots threes - but is coming off a 5-5 game against OSU. Can't lose him on rotations

David N'Guessan - the only returnee from last year, a 6'9" PF, is their leading scorer at 12ppg and a good offensive rebounder

Max Jones - 6'4" SG transfer from UC Fullerton, is shooting 40% from three.

No one on the bench stands out much at all.

I think this will be closer than we'd like until well into the second half - I suspect the hangover from the end of the Arizona game will be real (although this team is different). But we go on a 20-0 run to put the game away mid-second half

I can't argue much about this the 2nd half is when we put people away.

There needs to be students dressed as spys (Sherlock Holmes, inspector Gadget, secret service, etc ), ridiculous giant 80's camcorders, cell phones pointed at every timeout, and mops in the crowd. Let's do what we do Hilton!

Not sure I remember the last time Hilton Magic was angry

I'm sure there was "angry" atmosphere several times since this, but Hilton was a bit mad (or at minimum extremely pumped) after this incident.

We got this: (aka "The Breitbach Game")
