Everyone dumbing me can’t even name 1 loss worse than this
UAB was pretty awful. Half the losses on the last Prohm season were about this bad. Hoiberg always laid some stinkers.

Moving the seats back from the basket on the ends and the lighting have changed Hilton probably for the worse as far as fan power is concerned. Hilton is still a strong advantage but the fans aren't eating the other team's confidence like they used to.

Not gonna lie, it legitimately was a historic loss:

Reset expectations, on to the next one. This team is seriously hurting without Milan and they need him in great form when he comes back.

Gulp.

This sucks

Historic f***ing loss!? After Monday!?

Yes it did. The miracle Caleb Love shot changed everything.

Honestly pretty unthinkable.
Yep we will never know but I really think ISU wins today if not for that shot. The idea of losing was not 'preposterous as all winning streaks come to an end but getting blown out in that fashion is pretty unfathomable. The #3 team in the country gets blown out by a team that has lost 15 games in a row on the road. That **** just doesn't happen.....ever.

You might need a new hobby. This one is clearly making you angry and irrational. Just take a breath, this is a great team that had a bad day. It happens. It’s a long season and even the best teams have stinkers. Once we are healthy and locked in, we will make a run. Just flush it and move on.
Not sure it just “happens”

We’ll hope for a turnaround. February hasn’t been kind to tj in the past.

Yes. This team will be a sweet sixteen exit at best once again. Probably a 2 or 3 seed again. I’m fine with it but I won’t watch. At some point I need to have a realistic hope we can achieve a milestone like that. I’ll keep contributing to the athletics program and NIL but I have many better things to do on a Tuesday night
The absolutely dumbfuckery to say 'only a 2 or 3 seed and Sweet 16 team' is astounding.

Might want to move away from sports in general if you can't set reasonable expectations...

What the **** happened. This is unacceptable. TJ just got lucky so far in his tenure. Has beaten absolutely nobody and lost to a bunch of borderline D2 squads this year. What a disgrace. Team is way worse than last year. Onto football season
JFC...we lost by 2 to the #1 ranked team in the final seconds, beat Marquette and Kansas by double digits...both top 10 teams...TJ has as many top 10 wins in the last few years as Bill Self. Try not to lose your perspective through your emotion of disappointment of ONE game. Are you THAT easily swayed by a bad loss...they happen. Be disappointed, sad, angry...whatever. But try to be a rational, intelligent human being and don't text stupid s*** like this.

Agree with this, and although I was hoping against hope that wouldn't be the case when that went down on Monday, it just FELT like that kind of a loss would have more impact than one game. Wish that wasn't the case.

I completely wasn’t thinking about that 36 point outing. Had forgot that one for some reason. Yeah that was really bad. Was 2022 in TJs first year. I don’t know what TCU one you are talking about. We weren’t close at all to top 10

Edit, dang I forgot how good of a record start the Brockington team had. Forgot they were 15 going into that. Still a far better team than this ksu one

From what I saw the '21-22 team didn't have the physical abilities/talent that this KSU team has, they just had great chaotic defense that screwed everything up to give themselves a chance unless the opponent had dudes.

As bad as his other posts are I'm going to have to agree on that one.

You don't get ranked #3 and have metrics that back up being a top 4 or 5 team on the country by February then only expect a Sweet 16.

Things could completely change once we get Milan back but only being in the Sweet 16 again would be a major disappointment with this squad.

I think most are surprised to see this team likely isn’t as good as last years. 3 seed a disappointment? Absolutely. Not a failure though.
I think the ceiling is higher with this year’s team but I truly believe MOST here (including me) did NOT think this team had a floor like this. A lot of the efficiency rankings had us as a really good offensive and defensive team. A game THIS bad was really unthinkable. They just don’t happen to teams with those type of numbers. #3 doesn’t lose to a below-500 squad at home. Ever. That, to me, is why I’m bummed. I saw it the WVA and thought - nah, just a bad game and WVA was pumped. But now unfortunately, again with a TJ team, we see that this type of outing is possible. I was hoping like hell it wasn’t.

They forgot how to move the ball… but K State seemed to be everywhere and decided to foul and see how many are called?
The foul thing was so weird. I've rarely seen a coach have players get in foul trouble, leave them in the game, and have it pay off.

Metrics-wise it's really good but the season long issues have been not valuing the ball on offense and getting a bit leaky and passive on defense.

I think the ceiling is higher. But games like today make me second guess myself a little.
