Historically, yes. The new batch of fans will need to relearn how to apply Hilton Magic in a new way. But one thing I do know, is that the Hilton Magic of old carries teams, as opposed to waiting to respond.
Reminds me of football crowd. Only cheer on 3rd downs.

Are you saying it was on him today?

It wasn’t on him today. However, he isn’t adding much. He makes a few nice plays but we are playing 4 on 5 on offense.

My biggest concern is Jackson in the middle. He has bad hands. Has trouble catching and finishing. It’s frustrating. That and our players continually driving down the lane into 3 big tall guys waiting to take the ball away from them

Its not just 1 game. He's not been good for a while now. I know there are ups and downs, but if we want to be a legit final 4 contender we need better production from the bench and specifically him.

@1UNI2ISU Please tell me Heise will get better. Was he this bad at UNI?
He's the same player. Good defender and rebounder that doesn't really get his own, lots of back cuts and garbage buckets. Not a great shooter unless he really has time to get his feet set.

I don't notice anything different in his game from last year to this year. He's a kid that was at his ceiling which is miles ahead of where he was when he got to Cedar Falls.

There comes a point where MM+ guys are MM+ guys for a reason and it's hard to build a roster full of them in a power league regardless of how old they are.

Yeah sometimes they don't work out, for every Curtis jones there are a couple that struggle.

Racist comments and death threats coming at players is not a good look. Be better than that!

Gamblers? I can’t believe we have tavern goober fans that would do that but that’s garbage either way.

True.

Have you been watching other players in that time frame?

Yeah, doesn’t even seem believable. He didn’t play bad and it was a tough road loss to a really good team.
Hardcore gamblers are insane. I said it earlier, but if someone had big money on ISU money line he missed a game winning free throw. Unfortunately you hear stories like this about degenerates going after athletes. No idea if it was from a gambler or an ISU fan but its gross either way.

Yeah he isn't alone. Chatfield hasn't been good for a while, Gilbert is feast or famine, Jackson needs to be stronger with the ball, and Jones just seems tired. But damn if he would just give a little bit of offense it would make a world of difference.

Similar to what other fans have said throughout the season, I expected some losses, and figured there could be some "shouldn't" types, but I assumed those would be more like a dud on the road vs. a "meh" team, not a 3-TD meltdown at home to a sub-.500.

Like, the West Virginia loss was a bummer and ISU played poorly, but that was more in line with what I anticipated for "bad."

Okay,so what is it?
I have a hard time believing this team’s problems are only Momcilovic being out. And even if that really is our only issue, it’s still unacceptable to lose to K-State at home.

Please don’t be this guy.
Not sure what you mean. TJs entire post-game rant was that our effort wasn't there. They wanted it more. Our fans have been chirping at KState and Tang on social media for the last year. They absolutely had a little extra juice for this game, which was evident in their guys taunting our crowd.

In other news, WVU has been drubbed 3 straight games since beating ISU.
