The vibe on this is so weird. Most ISU fans are thinking loss in AFH, and most KU fans thinking loss too.
I think that's 'cuz KU fans don't believe in their roster. Which is reasonable based on what they're used to. I see a lot of sentiment around Dickinson just not being the guy.The vibe on this is so weird. Most ISU fans are thinking loss in AFH, and most KU fans thinking loss too.

No sir. Kansas must always be destroyed. Unless they agree to a tie where they tell everyone that they were destroyed. That settles it-- we both accept a tie and move on.

It almost felt like they bought the hype and lost their edge a bit. They were definitely careless with the ball on offense and not as energetic / aggressive rebounding and defending. That can be difficult to "flip the switch" back on - but KU is definitely struggling, especially at the defensive end. They've given up 80 in each of their last 3 games - and played really fast (76 or more possessions per game).I want to see an angry and determined ISU squad today. To be real, the last few weeks the team has just looked lazy, which is why they have had a lot of unforced turnovers. I don't know if they are just worn out or something else. It's a long season, and it's a grind. But we have seen them be mentally and physically tough. And it's that toughness that I want to see first and foremost tonight.
Maybe we should do a Braveheart, meet in the middle, don't play, and reminisce how we both hate Mizzou. The vibe on this is so weird. Most ISU fans are thinking loss in AFH, and most KU fans thinking loss too.
And their NIL budgets during that same perid of time totally dwarfed the rest of the big 12. It's like the rest of us weren't even trying. Those teams that won those 58 games had walk-ons that could start for this years KU team. Not the same comparison whatsoever
If Jones and Gilbert play SMART, we'll win tonightIf Jones and Gilbert have good games well win. If they play like they did on Saturday we'll lose by 15+ again.
I want Heise to take at least 3 three point shots tonight. That's the goal that TJ needs to impress upon him. I don't care if he hits the side of the backboard each one. He needs to shoot.
And if your name is Jackson or Chatfield and you get the ball under the basket, go up like you own the mudder fuddin' place! If your name isn't Jackson or Chatfield, and they leave you open tonight, shoot the mudder fudder!
I am firing up the ESPN app figuring no way we will start on time. Not going to bother anymore looking at the bottom right to see if we are on ESPN2 or ESPNU.Do we want to have an internal over/under on game-clock time when Game 1 is over and ESPN finally switches to our game?
Pitt is a 12-point favorite over UVa. So, I suppose it'll be a one-possession game with the final 4 minutes taking 25 real-time minutes. Or goes to overtime.
