There is no region associated with pod locations. You could be in the East but play your 1st/2nd game in SeattleWho do we think will be the 1 in that region?

The K-State loss is just easier to understand. That team somehow beat everybody for a couple of weeks. Could’ve written that one off if OSU didn’t happen a month later. The Kstate loss is worse resumè wise than OK St but both aren’t great lol
That’s right but if we are the top 4 seed would we be in the bracket with the worst 1? Assume that is TN, Fl, or Alabama then. There is no region associated with pod locations. You could be in the East but play your 1st/2nd game in Seattle
If Iowa State is a 4 and behind 2 of A&M, Arizona and Purdue, Seattle it is.Denver will be the furthest we go, IMO. Lunardi putting us in Seattle is just lazy on his part. He typically doesn't do his homework on locations past the first few seed lines.

Saw that too. Still just assume we are a 4 that way if by some chance we are a 3 that’s awesome.Dan Gavitt was just on CBS and he mentioned that committee has already seeded teams thru the 9 seed line this morning before the result of the Wisconsin/Michigan State game.
He also mentioned that player injuries throughout the season play a major factor into seeding and also player availability going into the tournament. Committee reached out to Duke asking on Flagg and Duke told them he’d be playing which isn’t going to hurt their seeding at all. I would assume they did the same with Iowa State and Keshon/Tamin as I would be shocked if both were not playing next week. Texas Tech deserves to be the top 3 seed but with there being 3 spots on that seed line between Iowa State, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Maryland and Arizona I find it hard to believe we will not be one of those 3 seeds. Committee should know ISU with everyone available is not a 4 seed at all and all of our metrics would still have us as one of the 3 teams that should be included on the 3 seed line.
His latest has us as a 3Lunardi's latest. I'd take this quadrant:
Denver
- 5 Clemson
- 12 Colorado State - aq
- 4 Iowa State
- 13 High Point - aq
Auburn in Sweet 16 then Michigan St in Elite 8 if seeds hold.

Oh man. I don't like High Point as a first game but whatever. Gotta play the games.Lunardi's latest. I'd take this quadrant:

Seems like every program would lie and say yes if there's even a small chance of them playing. Pretty easy to go back after and say "they didn't recover as fast as we thought they would"and also player availability going into the tournament. His latest has us as a 3
I like the 4 seed set-up better in that case. Also this is already outdated. He has us back to a 3
I would be really surprised if Lipsey wasn’t starting. I think he’s going to be close to 100% or at least as close as he can be. Gilbert, I have no idea. I wouldn’t be surprised if he played and I wouldn’t be surprised if he never plays another minute for ISU.(1) who cares? The Big 12 is a strong enough conference, and ISU has played a brutal schedule. Why is it OK for the SEC to have their 5th and 6th place teams with top 3 seeds, but not the Big 12?
(2) once again, who cares? We literally threw our participation in the tournament by sitting arguably our two best players so they can rest injuries for the NCAAs... and we still almost beat BYU anyway.
(3) which is why we're a #3 seed and not a #2 seed
(4) Lipsey is probably at least getting spot play next week, and we more than likely don't need Gilbert to get through the first weekend.
But hey - props on an absolute beauty of a "nutcup" post.
If the 3 means an extra day of rest, it's our best case scenario regardless of who we playI like the 4 seed set-up better in that case.
