They were a 1 seed who lost in the sweet 16. How were they better than the media narrative last year?ACC teams. I think they are better than the media narrative. They certainly were last season.

Curious how they score the accuracy. Is it a point system with how close you come to the actual seeding? If so, how come you don't hedge a little and put Drake as a 10 seed? Or are you hoping to gain a bunch of points on the field? Personally, I think they're ceiling is a 9, especially with the name power of teams like creighton, uconn, Baylor, and Marquette in that 8/9 range.I'm currently ranked 34th out of 179 brackets on Bracket Matrix. Biggest thing that will either help or hurt my ranking this year is where I have Drake. I went away from groupthink a little and have them as a 9-seed. If they're a 11 or 12, that will hurt me in the scoring. Think the gaudy record and being 6-0 in Q1/Q2 could help them.
Ultimately, I don’t think anyone else really qualifies for that last 9-seed spot. Other options are Baylor, Utah State, Arkansas, West Virginia, Oklahoma. None of their resumes screamed out to me as being significantly better than Drake so I took a risk on the resume with the gaudy record.Curious how they score the accuracy.
