I got one for Kansas several weeks ago but I have not received anything for Texas. I went through a car wash before we headed down. Maybe I should wait to do that next time. We live on a gravel road.

Same re the gravel road.
We have received no bill in the mail, though. We road-trip often enough that we have found it easier to have an EZ pass (Illinois to North Carolina and most of the states north and east of that line) and a K-pass (Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado and Florida). No cost for either pass, and a lower rate & shorter lines at the toll booths. It's all done online, and we can switch the passes between our car and our RV. Highly recommend.
