Don’t really know- my dad has been with this company for about 50 years growing seed beans- this is the first year it’s happened for him. -

I grow seed beans for Syngenta out of Jefferson. Got a phone call last week and they are cutting our seed bean acres almost in half for this coming growing season citing that they do not have the demand they have had in many, many years. -

The wife and I will be in Des Moines this Friday/Saturday. We are coming from a couple hours away so I don’t know the “good” restaurants in downtown Des Moines- close to the Marriott.. Looking for a nice sit down date night restaurant. Price isn’t really a deal breaker. Thanks everyone!- cyinne

Craft Beer Tent at Fair
Had a great time there Saturday night. Was pretty crowded before Jelly Roll concert but thinned out some. Beer was good- I didn’t see a difference from years past. Parked on west side of fairgrounds- came in the entrance right by tent- had a few beers in tent- took one for a walk- came back...
