    New DG game plan...

    I agree. Would like to see Jake get the ball in the last two minutes. Jake can finish at the hoop and is a good passer. DG is still very valuable to this team but I think he takes too many shots considering he has the lowest fg% of all the starters.

    DG is not a shooter. Not sure if he is worse behind the 3pt line or finishing around the basket. I predict zero BIG 12 wins in games he takes 15 or more shots.

    fix it for you I agree 100% with this. Anyone that would not trade DG for any guard in the big 12 is crazy. Balbay at Texas is close but he is a better passer and defender. I could see 5 more wins with Clemente rather than DG (NW, UNI, @Tech, @Okla, KSU).

    This is the only statistic in which he is in the top twenty in the league. He can't shoot from the outside, he can't finish in the lane and applies very little on ball pressure to opponents point guards which allows easy passing lanes or open threes.

    More minutes for Colvin and Dendy. More pressing and trapping on defense. This team plays terrible half court defense, so why not try creating some more uptempo style and get easy baskets with the athletes we have. I don't buy the fact that we don't have enough depth to play full court...

    He scored 30 points and was unstoppable when they were throwing 3 men at him with the press. I would love to have point guard as good as he is.

    Where is he at on the turnover rate? Watch him play defense for a little while. When they were trapping at the end of the game he gets pushed around like hes not even there. There is more to playing point guard then assist to turnover ratio.

    I want him back, but I want a point guard that is capable of playing in the top half of the Big 12. I don't care who it is (transfer, juco, or jr in high school) we need a point guard. Hopefully Buckley and Colvin improve prior to next season.

    DG is not going to get better. I have watch 2 1/2 years of the same thing over and over. Buckley and Colvin have a chance to improve with more PT. Unfortunately DG will be the starter for 1 1/2 more years.
